Apologies if I missed this, but how does this party impact non-party days at Hollywood?

We're going down to Disney for a quick 3 days trip: Nov 10, 11 & 12th.

Our plan

Nov 10: Epcot morning and afternoon, Xmas at MK at night
Nov 11: Hollywood studios (Now impacted by this party I suppose)
Nov 12: Animal Kingdom + fly home

I guess Hollywood normally closes at 9, so we have to leave 30 minutes ealier, does that mean we also don't get to see Fantasmic or fireworks?

Thanks if anyone happens to know. I don't think there's really space for us to change up our plans since we didn't buy park hoppers.

They have said that day guests will get to see Fantasmic! and that is the only evening show going on now at DHS

So theoretically the party doesn't impact your DHS day the same way the party at MK does - though you still will have to deal with increased crowds in the evening at party guests do get to come in a little early.

So there is some impact whereas if possible I would do DHS on another day but I don't view it as you *have* to avoid it like I would for MK on party days

And based on your laid out schedule what you have is probably the best you can do, assumming seeing Fantasmic! is important to you (otherwise you could switch EPCOT and DHS)

Ahh, got it. Yeah, part of my party rarely attends Disney and they really want to do AK and Hollywood, so I think it's best to keep Hollywood to a full day, especially if we can keep Fantasmic. If it were just me or some other Disney addicted friends I'd say we just have to add a day or two, lol.

I wonder if the attendance cap is lower for the first night, so bloggers have more positive reviews of the event.

That wouldn't surprise me either - much look food quality at the previews/initial days. I (obviously) have no way to support that. But, Disney knows that advertising channel VERY VERY well.

And I do think they have reduced capacity. Having a sold out party with lower caps sounds better than higher attendance numbers by a few thousand.

Will the conspiracy theories about Disney falsifying attendance never end?

Just compare a live vlog of the first night with a live vlog of subsequent nights.

Come back when you have proof.

I never said they were falsifying. Having a somewhat lower cap on opening night serves everyone. It's a good marketing ploy of selling out, it lets them have effectively a "media night" without one, and it lets the staff ease into the event. Virtually every restaurant and venue does this during their soft opening phase. And, if we're honest, being able to say "we sold out" sells much more on Wall Street than "reduced attendance for guest satisfaction."

I appreciate the desire to come back with proof. But, the same applies to claiming they have the same attendance caps every night of the event. Disney will not publish those numbers. So, it's not a conspiracy theory. It's how companies this size manage Wall Street. Overall revenue often doesn't matter as much as narrative.

Just because something is possible doesn't mean it's responsible to elevate it to the level of plausible. This is how insinuation and rumor worm their way into the collective mythology of the community.

So far, only Oct 31 has sold out of all the Fall/Winter party nights. Which is on track from previous years.

There is zero expectation of December nights selling out in July.
Am I correct that if you purchase this Jollywood special event ticket that you do NOT need a separate park ticket, and do NOT need to make a park reservation? Thanks.

OK Thanks. I will be going SPECIFICALLY to see and document the Tip Top Club recreation that will be the first and only time Disney has created this other than in the Tower of Terror movie from 1997. I hope it will be worth it.

It has been referenced and displayed in projection mapping shows before. Also in the online comic book I believe.
