This is Elwood. Our big baby named after (ironically) the sheep dog from The gy D.A. We thought it would be funny because Elwood thinks he is a dog. He rolls over, begs, and even fetches from time to time. No joke. He's our little weirdo.

I've recently rescued two guinea pigs, one of which I have called Pascal (from Tangled). Other Disney inspired names we considered for them both included Simba, Chip and Dale and Meeko.

i looked through this whole thread and am excited to see that im not the only one that named my pet kali after kali river rapids. living in california people always think her name is cali, but i correct them and say its with a "k" and explain we named her after a ride in disney world. she is the sweetest kitty ever!

We adopted a puppy from the local shelter last year, she was very sick and only 4 weeks old and had been mistreated.

When we got her I named her "Belle" of course And she is such a great dog I am so happy that I adopted... I feel so great about saving her... our vet even told us if we hadn't taken her she probably would have died So I feel so great that we kept that from happening. So happy we went and adopted another puppy this summer... her name is Smudge... my husband named her lol :shrug:

Also in the past I have had the Mickey Mouse fish (has anyone ever seen these? they are like gold fish but have the mickey face on them?) I had one named Mickey and another named Minnie.

I had a cat named Kiara (from Simba's pride).

A gerbil named Daisy.

I think that is it.

We had tried to rescue a yellow lab last year named Mickey, but she got very sick during the foster process and things just didn't work out. It was such a mess that we've decided to hold off on dog #2 for a while.
