Me and my family went to WDW in September (10-20) and had a GREAT time but found it to be VERY busy. I was wondering if anybody has been to WDW in early November or know what the crowds was like ??? Thanks in advance

We usually go the last week of October or the first week of November and find the crowds to be quite manageable. It's no longer "low" season like it was a few years ago, but crowds are still moderate. Just stay out of the World Showcase on the weekends. The Food & Wine crowds are crushing from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening.

We've been told that this year was a fluke, and we're inclined to believe it. We went in Sept of 08 and it was a ghost town.

I think late September and October are getting more popular with the F&W festival and the Halloween Parties. We went the week before Thanksgiving in 09' and found it to be one of the quietest times.

We were there the last week of November (From Thanksgiving weekend through the next week) in 2007 and we found the crowds VERY mangeable other than Thanksgiving weekend. We got there on Sunday I think and Sunday and Monday were pretty crowded but after that it was a ghost town.

We went once mid-November (after Holloween before Thanksgiving) and it was awesome...fantastic weather and very low crowds.

We're going from the 19th of November through the 23rd. I have a feeling it will be packed but that was the only time we could go. Hopefully it won't be as bad as I think.

We went last year in October thinking it wouldn't be bad and it was packed. You would have thought it was the middle of summer.

FYI-The first full week of November is "Jersey Week"

Most of NJ has the week off from school so it's a busy week for travelers from the Garden State. I live in a very small town and know about 25 families going down to WDW at some point during that week.

Went 3 years ago ... weekend after Thanksgiving.
It was AWESOME!!! No crowds except for opening night of Osborne Lights at DHS.

November is a great time to go.

Have a great trip

Yea I've heard that this past Sept being busy was a fluke from others aswell. A friend of mine always go in Sept and they said it's never been like this year. I'm trying to go the end of Nov this year myself, hopefully it's not that bad.

We go every year during the week of Thanksgiving. This year the 19th thru the 26th. It is not that bad from Saturday thru about Tuesday but it gets a little more crowded after that. Everthing is decorated for Christmas, that makes everthing so much better also it adds a whole different feeling to being there as well!!! I think if you can handle it being a bit crowded(depending on when you go) and manage the fastpass system pretty good, everything will be great. Have a great time!!!!

November is great, just be sure to watch the weather. In a six day period you can experience summertime pool weather one day and bone chilling cold two days later. My last trip had a couple nights that were so cold I couldn't find enough clothes to put on.

Just a heads up :D

We went the week before Thanksgiving week last year and it was great. Crowds were good, weather was gorgeous, saw everything decked-out for Christmas, and was able to go to MVMCP & see the Osbourne lights. We noticed things picking up considerably the weekend before Thanksgiving. We agreed we'd have been better to pull out the Friday before.

Definitely there's no true slow times to go to WDW anymore. They've become really good at packing folks in year 'round with all the discounts, events, etc. I remember it when there was truly an off-season. Those days are loooong gone.... :D

Thanks for the info. Maybe the 19-23rd won't be as bad as I thought.
