Disney in November?

I've been during Spring break with my dance team kiddos and of course there is a ton of people. I went during the summer when I was a small child and don't remember the crowds at all. We've been as a family during X-mas and they were not too scary.

We will be going next Nov and I'm just curious about what they will be like then. Thanks!

I've never been in November, but I have a friend who swears the best time to avoid crowds is the week after Thanksgiving.

Avoid Thanksgiving week, and you should see very light crowds.

Another slight exception is the 2nd week in November. There's a thread about it elsewhere, but schools in NJ have a 4-day weekend that week for a teachers' conference/convention, and lots of NJ families go down then. Not nearly as bad as the main holidays, or most of the summer, though.

It's the week of election day, that week most schools have off because of election day and teacher confr. in Atlantic City. So rather than open one day and close one then, open again for one day then close for thurs. and fri. they, or I should say most schools districts in NJ close and call it fall break. Except for 2 visits we always go this time of the year. It's not hot but can get up to 90, not really crowded, and the bugs are no problem. It's also the value season so resorts are at their lowest prices. The one downer is that the parks close early, around 7 for MK, EPCOT closes at their normal time, AK, I really don't know now that EE is opened, they may stay open longer. MGM closes at the time Fantasmic, and when it is over you leave the park.
32 days and counting for our second visit to WDW..... CAN'T WAIT..... NOT SOON ENOUGH!!! :sohappy:

i think november is 1 of the best times 2 go...no matter what month or season u go in, you will still hit some crowds. the weather is a little better in november though! have a nice time:wave:
