I wanted to do a shout out to Disney for something exciting that happened over memorial weekend.
Over MD weekend we attended the annual Pop Warner Scholarship banquet in Boston. Pop Warner awarded over 90,000.00 in scholarships from about 30 different companies to 8/9th graders who had achieved academic excellence along with additional service projects. Over 400 kids attended this event. My daughter Abby an A honor roll student, has been a Pop Warner cheerleader since she was 5, she is now 15. She is a volunteer at a local elementary school, participates in relay for life, and in several other fund raiser to help others throughout the year. Abby was awarded a 2,500 scholarship from Disney. It was quite a blessing that Abby would win this scholarship and that it was awarded from the one company that is so close to our heart!
