Oh lighten up Francis.

I am well aware of the corporate responsibility aspect of the sustainability movement. I am tickled pink that TWDC could give $3 million. But if you really want to make a meaningful difference, give much more to a single endeavor. That is how you make a real difference.

So give to less groups but giver more huh? That's great if you are one of the fewer groups getting a larger donation. Not so much if you are left without any donation, of which many of these groups are counting on from Disney and others.

I take it you have never handled a corporate donation budget.

I am not going to debate this with you, It 's clear you do not know what you are talking about.

So give the same amount to more organizations? This will result in a larger percentage of total donation being consumed by SG&A that lessens the actual amount of actual money that gets spent at the ground level. If Danny Thomas could help build St. Judes, what could TWDC build?

Look at it this way. A hospital in Florida got a $3M donation for equipment that will help people. If TWDC decided to build a children's hospital in Anaheim and dedicated all of their giving to that project the kids in Florida would get nothing. There is something to be said about spreading the wealth too.

A children's hospital in Anaheim would accept patients from all over the country and world. If the children's hospital were built near Orlando, they would also accept patients from outside of the state and country. Specialized medical Institutions accept patients from all over.

I get what you are saying. In this case the $3M went towards MRI machines for emergency and trauma patients. It's for local use primarily.
