News 'Disney Enchantment' coming to Magic Kingdom October 1 2021

Not bad, but HEA song was better and nothing matches Phil Collins and "Go the Distance" shattering my soul.

Need more time with this show because Disney's livestream was so awful, but initial thoughts are I still prefer HEA. It's weird since both are clip shows and hew so closely to each others' playbook, but there are some strange arrangement decisions that make the show feel less grand than its scope; HEA feels more epic somehow.

Enchantment also seems to be 3 minutes shorter than HEA, and those 3 minutes really could've helped some of the pacing problems DE has IMO, particularly in the transition from intro to Angela, then villains to Moana to finale.

Still, pretty solid show. I love the Into the Unknown into Disney Villains segment and the Soul piano moment. Also Angela Bassett can do no wrong.

My point is, Moana was in there WAY more than Frozen. I never claimed Frozen wasn't in there at all.

Also: Frozen sucks, Frozen 2 doesn't suck.

I’m all hearts with HEA, but this was very good! Maybe a tad too much instrumental in parts but I dug the main song. The Moana finish into the outro was perfect…

Looking forward too seeing this live!

Lateral move from HEA to me. Same basic composition with different songs. I appreciate getting something new. I think it’s as good as HEA. I look forward to seeing WDWMagic’s recording with better lighting. I expect the Main Street projections are more impactful in person.

Agree the original music was good. Also a good show overall. I just think that HEA was better. Who can forget the Pirates and Tangled sequences?

I didn't dislike it. Maybe it's better and you 'feel' it more in person? It felt like it lacked the heart of HEA.

And I feel the show DEFINITELY should have had a quote from Walt Disney himself heard over the speakers at the end, or beginning.

Angela Bassett was definitely a +.

The concept art for the show really overhyped the visual. A lot.

HEA had to grow on me a bit before I absolutely loved it so I’ll give this one room to breathe. I liked the castle/Main Street projections and the fireworks looked really cool as well, I was just thrown off a bit by the alternate versions of some theatrical songs.

Wow - another disappointing show. I was so upset to see that the projection no longer embraces the castle's design and has fun with and just kinda used the largest flat space to show clips. The 50th celebration is shaping up to be very disappointing.

I'm really surprised at all of the HEA love. I though HEA was just decent. This was very similar but I thought the projections were much better, the original song was much better, and I liked that large sections of the middle were instrumental only, sans vocals.

Here’s Tink flying. There’s no pyro buildup to her flying, so it lessens the impact and makes it easier to miss. Like in HEA, there’s a stream of pyro that shoots right behind Tink. Here, it’s just projections.
