I loved HEA, made a special trip to see it one more time. That being said, I'm rooting hard for Disney Enchantment. I hope it gives me the same feels.

I'd still like to find a way to twinkle back somehow but that's before I experience DE.
If they're using the HEA template... it's hard to go wrong.

But, WDW can do fantastic things, like HEA. And fantastic fails. And puzzling mehs, which get counted as fails.

Uncork the bottle of wine at 8:45. It’ll help.

So everyone can conveniently copy and paste:

This show is terrible.

I can’t believe we lost HEA for this.

There’s definitely less pyro than HEA.

There’s no story that I understand.

Can we have Wishes back?

Disney used to be great story tellers!

There will be a huge line of angry guests at Guest Relations tomorrow!

This will be a one and done for me. I’ll just watch the EWP.

Cheapek is the worst.

Too loud.

Too bright.

Too fun.

No magic.

Boo!!!

That’s 15 minutes I won’t get back!

Bring Eisner back!

The Magic is NOT you!

Jordan Fisher deserves better!

550 days til HEA returns!

The more I listen to the original song, the more excited I am about this new show. I've already found myself humming it during the day at random points.

HEA gave them a successful blueprint to work within, and because of that, I think it will be a lot harder for them to mess this show up.

The next time they re-do the show, I hope they add projections elsewhere too (RIP anyone inside the hub when trying to leave.)

Same. The song is going to be a good anchor like HEA had, and which Harmoinious lacks. I have a feeling it is going to be a very good show. Better than HEA? We will see, I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't better, but still really good and unique in its own way. I'm cautiously optimistic after listening to the song a few (dozen) times this afternoon.

I'm ready! I'm actually excited with the idea the entire main street is part of the show!
I hope they utilize the main street projections at 2022 4th of july fireworks, like Disneyland did recently since 2017, just copying projection from the older sister park.

I mean, this guy seems charismatic and kind... but why do the media people always ask the worst questions and seem like they've done zero prep as to what questions they should ask.

Apart from that.

WALL TO WALL FIREWORKS!!

As much product as HEA, but a few minutes less of a show, so will seem like a ton of pyro (according to the imagineer).

The proof will be in the pudding. Surely they know how much is riding on this?

Don’t understand why they didn’t add spot lights on MS. No preview videos have shown them anyway. I thought we saw pics of what looked like spot lights? 🤔

The questions are not great - but that is one of the "realist" Disney interviews I've seen in awhile. Yes he sprinkles in some of the typical marketing/PR pixie dust, but for the most part he talks like a normal person and gives some interesting nuggets.

I thought it was interesting that he (Roger Butterley) said:

1) The original song was written first, and then the rest of the show was designed
2) The show is several minutes shorter than HEA but has the same amount of Pyro (so it will feel like it has more pyro)
3) There is some dynamic speaker/sound action (on Main Street?) to make you feel more immersed

His linkedin says he has been at Disney since 2015 and has been the music producer for:
Magic Kindgom- Happily Ever After Spectacular; Disney's Hollywood Studios-Club Villain, Disney Movie Magic Projection Show, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular; Disney's Animal Kingdom-Jungle Book-Alive With Magic; EPCOT-Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Tape Live!, American Music Machine; Disney Cruise Line-Star Wars Day at Sea; Tokyo Disneyland-Halloween Pop'n Live Parade; Hong Kong Disneyland- Mickey’s Christmastime Ball, We Love Mickey Projection Show.
