Anyone have any good pics of the Disney designs/motiff in their home?

Anyone ever have a painted/artist complete a mural or movie scene in one of your rooms?

Just curious as I have a few ideas of my own when we move into our house in a few weeks :D

Not me personally, aside from knick knacks and stuff all over, but there is one guy/family I saw on the web once who has a monorail set up through his entire house. It even tunnels through walls to get into other rooms and such. It was pretty cool. I'll see if I can find pics of it again.

Can someone tell me how to reduce a picture so it's a smaller file size? Mine's too big to fit into my photoalbum, and I already removed 2 other pictures for it.

Or, is there another way to post a pic without going through my photoalbum?

Thanks

Look at the Disney Store catalogue or the Disney Store online. They have all kinds of interior decorative items. From tables to lampshades. And Home Depot has a line of wallpaper, and Disney sponges for painting. Also Bear paint has an exclusive line of Disney paint. So I would look between those two stores. If you have any questions ask, or PM me. I am allways here to help out.

A Disney themed house?

Obsessive much?

I have a few Tigger figurines/statues here and there in my apartment, but I could never do the whole place or even a room that's all Disney. But that's just me.

Its really not obsessive. There are plenty of wonderful Disney themes for a house. I am working on a design for a full Disney oriented, and fashioned house. There are many great things to decorate with. Such as gels and statues, figurines, and lamps. The list goes on and on.

My mom used to know this one couple. And the man painted his son's room with Lion King all over it...I believe that he used to be an artist for Disney. It looked kind of neat.

when we move in a few months, we are making a "mickey kitchen", with black and white floor tiles, red walls, framed/matted vintage-looking mickey prints, all the dishes etc.

i also would eventually like to have a "tiki room", like a polynesian-themed sunroom.

every room will have some type of disney essence though, since it is such a big part of us, and it makes us happy ;-):sohappy:

I want to do my yard with a Disney theme. I'm going to put a giant pond in front of the brick garage in my back yard then paint a Tree of Life mural on the garage wall, so that it becomes what I see from my bay window when in my living room. I'm going to project the image on the wall and trace it.

Unfortunately I do not have a digital camera or a scanner so I can't easily post photos here... but my entire place is covered in Disney murals. (I did fine art at university.)

My bathroom is Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo. One wall of my living room has a ballroom dance scene with Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty & Snow White (love.) The other wall is the 100 Acre Wood. My kitchen is Toy Story, Lady & the Tramp and Bambi. The bedroom is Dumbo, Aladdin & Peter Pan (flight.)

It took me over 2 years to complete and the worst part is that we're in the military and have to move soon! Also the military housing authorities are going to kill us when they find out - it's totally against regs! :brick:

Kevin Page I'd love to hear & discuss your plans!

Aimster...I LOVE the avatar. You work fast, that art has been out less than a week.

Makes me want to sing "Careless Memories"..
