No we went epcot came eigth hollywood studios 9th and magic kingdom was their least favourite but for the parades and fireworks dont thnk they would go again
(I am probably going to get so bashed for this and I apologize very much so for this but I have to point out something) Possibly, maybe lack of enthusiasm on your part perhaps...? If you didn't like it and made points about what was once there, the kids might not have received the best Disney message from it....just saying...

I am sorry if my op came across as a troll , as far as im concerned disney can do no wrong and will always be njmber onebut my teen niece and nephew who were with us in november didnt even put a disney park in their top 5 days of the holiday which i find sad but even i can see that any theme park has to evolve to stay at the top and lets face it the disney parks have not evolved much space mountain is still my personal fave but come on its over 40 yrs old, tomorrowland is no longer futuristic in any way what adventure is there in adventureland oh wait there is the swiis family robinson or the queue to nowhere as my nephew called it and as for the fantasyland expansion two good new rides i agree but anyone who says the mine trains are worth the three hour wait regularly seen is deluded

How old are they? When I was a teen I enjoyed Disney, but I also loved Universal..and probably preferred it at that time. It could just be the age. I think my own child will be the same in a few years. Not because of a park wide decline though.

Why would you come to a Disney site and make your very first post a pro-Universal, Disney bash unless you're trolling?

There's only one answer.

Here's the answer I always receive to a similar question..

"Because we love Disney so much that we are just expressing our disappointment over a place that can be better. But we don't go anymore. We don't want to go anymore.. But we continue to visit Disney Message boards daily."

..or something to that effect. ;)

You mister need to take a chill pill. Disney has not rested on its laurel and continues to improve itself. You might have had bad experiences with Disney or Universal, but one bad experience is not enough to justify you just about had it.

Clearly a troll post, but the state of the parks have actually improved over say 6-8 years ago.

Volcano Bay isn't going to draw any considerable amount of extra guests to Uni. Its just a water park, no matter how its marketed.
What would you base improvements on over the past 6-8 years? Maybe my memory is a bit off but isn't there still a net loss of attractions from that point to today?

As someone who has been visiting disney regularly since i was 10 and am now 45 most recently being there in november have to say im so sad that disney is fast becoming the second choice for many kids behind universal and this is only going to be heightened when volcano bay has disney rested on its laurels for too long
So the only decline is in your kids eyes? You didn't mention any other issues.

For decades the MK had been my fav place on the planet period.

Last trip, it was a zoo. The years of squezing the MK out like a lemon had finally succeeded in beating the magic out of it. My least favourite park in Orlando now. :'(

I too would go back for the parades and fireworks. But their best parade recently retired, leaving just that daytime lamefest, and the fireworks are on the brink of being replaced by youtube fanvideos projected on the castle.

I said the state of the parks - meaning upkeep and maintenance. Number of attractions does not factor in.

That's sad. May ask if you are an AP? Or someone who is able to go a lot? I ask because I don't get to go often... like 1983 89 93 13 15 but to me magic kingdom is still magical and amazing. I wonder its because I see it so infrequently that it still amazes me and if I went often it wouldn't have that effect. I hope with all of the additions coming soon the parks will spread out and you can enjoy it like you used to ... Have a beautiful day.

To be fair, if you're honestly believing Disney has done nothing new in terms of attractions for the past 35 years, that could come off as trolling.
