I have a new product, (invention), that I would like to speak to someone about at Disney. Does anyone have any leads in this area? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As I understand it, if you contact Disney with a new invention or idea, it will be returned to you with a form letter saying they don't accept them.. If their staff doesn't come up with it, they don't want it.

There is an address that you can submit an idea to but I do believe you will get the form letter response. As CMs we can not listen to guest ideas we have to encourage them to contact guest communications. If we come up with an idea it immediately becomes property of the company.

Is it a contraption that allows a several ton robotic primate to safely exert immense forces on a structural steel building?

If so, they might possibly be taking suggestions.

Absolutely true. I sent them a park suggestion back in the early 90's. They sent my letter back basically saying what MontyMon said. Oh by the way, years later my idea seemed to appear in the parks, plussed of course.

Are you a Cast Member by any chance? Like TOT Guy said, there are ways to do it from inside the company and through the intranet on property. They even help with submitting the idea to get copy rights and patents at the same time kinda taking credit for the idea... If not then good luck

Two courses of action that I see in this thread:

1.form a company then contact Disney about licensing rights for any of their IP that is suitable for your product or

2. hire in at Disney and pitch the idea to your immediate supervisor so that it becomes, immediately, more Disney IP...

There is a third option...request the closure of this thread to stop any more wiseacre comments from myself and others in the peanut gallery.
