They explored the idea of musical chairs -bringing that attraction over (possibly evident by concept art) but the last I heard was a new show without equity performers voicing and puppeting. The other concern is by removing it from Tomorrowland that leaves another shuttered attraction. But things may have changed. How are the GSATs for laugh floor?
I wish I could say I'm surprised they don't want equity performers.

The only thing stopping Disney from filling shuttered attractions is Disney so that could be resolved easily enough with the simple will to do it and a quality idea.

No idea on the GSATs.

I feel like Laugh Floor or something similar would be a good use of that space as there will be people who want to experience the land that cannot ride the coaster for one reason or another.

Anyone notice a playground in the concept art?
If MILF (still can't believe they titled an attraction with that acronym) is pulled, there is space for it in the current Muppets Theatre. But agree Tomorrowland would need a replacement for MILF and Stitch for that matter.

In my experience, a MILF doesn’t care what building it’s in as long as it can still attract a healthy crowd. It’s all about the hourly throughput and GSATs.

Welp, it should have been a total eviction. Once again, Iger and his "Imagineers" fail to read the room. Flop after flop after flop from the puppets, yet apparently the dorks at Disney feared the online retaliation in the event of the puppet theater closure (which said retaliation would NOT represent the feelings of the general public, which has failed to show up at movie theaters or watch the shows starring the puppets...hence, flop after flop after flop) and so is trying to please everybody(?) With the usual results.

But what's funny about this, is that the puppet fans are screaming about this new development anyway. They want a hokey, dated attraction to remain in WDW forever. Disney can't win with those guys, so the sensible thing would be to make a clean break and render WDW puppet-free, just like all of the other Disney parks around the world. Most people, including kids, wouldn't care. But instead, with this move, Disney is generating more resentment. Not even its promise that it's going to preserve some of the stuff from the theater and place it - where? in its own mausoleum near the Haunted Mansion? Say! Maybe there'll be a Kermit the Frog headstone near Mr. Toad! Synergy! - is enough. This is a really lame choice and really bad PR move. And I fail to see how it's going to help park attendance or make WDW worth all the ridiculous price hikes. Fail, Iger. You've failed again. All hail Epic Universe!

A new Muppet announcement is like Christmas day where I go downstairs and see what rant is left under the tree.

Your PFP is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. You are throwing boulders the size of mountains in a glass house.

Is calling them puppets instead of Muppets supposed to be a dig? At who exactly because they aren't real lol

This is sad news. Only good part is that, the studios wil have more capacity. I do not understand the muppetcoaster. Its way to wild for a family themed coaster.
TWDC doesn't view The Muppets as a general family audience property any longer. It's more of a targeted Gen-X/Elder Millennial niche. Fits the RnRC target demo as well (arguably better in 2024) as Aerosmith

I was there for RnRC soft openings and I'm totally fine with this. Aerosmith was old news even when it opened.

Yes - the vast majority of their album success came before it opened in 1999 - but have been a ridiculously successful touring act since (before Tyler's voice gave out). They also remain the highest-selling US band of all time...so basically not much has changed.

I will say this is better than the Jonas Bros
