Respectfully, I think the Muppets only resonate with "old farts". Today's kids couldn't care less.In terms of bands/music, Aerosmith only resonates with us “old farts”. Steven Tyler and Disney would love nothing more than to end whatever connection they have to the other due to reasons. It’s a win win.
Oh brother, blame Disney again for the latest puppet flop.Won an Emmy. Which is more then you can say for a lot of streaming shows that Disney can't be bothered to actually market.
Hopefully, they have an x-mas overlay.
I think having the muppets fun energy doing covers of more modern songs is a better solution than just one artist or band, honestly.Taking away Jim Henson's last work is terrible, Muppetvision was a fantastic addition. It boggles my mind Disney decided not to use another rock band for the ride.
Hopefully, they have an x-mas overlay.
I get the tiniest feeling you're not a fan of the Muppets.I skipped the Muppet theater EVERY visit.
Yes, that is what they did. They stole a rumor from here.
Not from any specific thread or even from WDWMagic specifically, but these things have been discussed by the online fan community for literally over two decades.I know. I was responding to someone who said WDW stole the idea from the rumors thread.
Unless I misread that lol.
I was waiting for a muppet rant from you and it did not disappoint!Welp, it should have been a total eviction. Once again, Iger and his "Imagineers" fail to read the room. Flop after flop after flop from the puppets, yet apparently the dorks at Disney feared the online retaliation in the event of the puppet theater closure (which said retaliation would NOT represent the feelings of the general public, which has failed to show up at movie theaters or watch the shows starring the puppets...hence, flop after flop after flop) and so is trying to please everybody(?) With the usual results.
But what's funny about this, is that the puppet fans are screaming about this new development anyway. They want a hokey, dated attraction to remain in WDW forever. Disney can't win with those guys, so the sensible thing would be to make a clean break and render WDW puppet-free, just like all of the other Disney parks around the world. Most people, including kids, wouldn't care. But instead, with this move, Disney is generating more resentment. Not even its promise that it's going to preserve some of the stuff from the theater and place it - where? in its own mausoleum near the Haunted Mansion? Say! Maybe there'll be a Kermit the Frog headstone near Mr. Toad! Synergy! - is enough. This is a really lame choice and really bad PR move. And I fail to see how it's going to help park attendance or make WDW worth all the ridiculous price hikes. Fail, Iger. You've failed again. All hail Epic Universe!
Note: MuppetVision 3D is closing. This is a disaster.
Seeing you get this ed off is the best part of this announcement.Welp, it should have been a total eviction. Once again, Iger and his "Imagineers" fail to read the room. Kermit won't attract a crowd like Steven Tyler. We were in the gift shop in 2012 at the ride exit and many fellow guests lined up the long hallway to exit into the courtyard. Cast advised that Tyler and his young lady friend would exit soon after riding and enter the gift shop which they both did and we saw them look at some shirts and leave, smiling throughout to the cheering crowd. You expect them to demo and rebuild the track?
If they replace the only upside down coaster they have for a family attraction that will start more chaos
