More park level de-theming - what are the Muppets doing on Sunset Blvd? At least you could say Aerosmith played a role in the Sunset Strip music scene.

Gone is the era when each park day evoked feelings unique from the other...Disney should fill in all the spaces between the parks with rides and make WDW one giant generic IP extravaganza.
Hollywood's always been a prominent Muppet setting.

They basically can just keep the plot and swap out Aerosmith for Electric Mayhem. A fictitious band featuring characters who are known to reside in Hollywood isn't really a stretch at all.

EDIT: Rushing to get somewhere in a chaotic fashion is very on brand for the Muppets.

EDIT #2: The announcement also is clear real musicians are being incorporated which helps even further the connection to reality.

Safe to assume this is adjacent to GUARDIANS/COUNTRY BEARS ... in the sense that it will be a randomized musical experience every time? ... with muppet covers of Disney songs? Otherwise I don't see how the music in this could engage anyone in the same way that the aerosmith music did??

In terms of bands/music, Aerosmith only resonates with us “old farts”. Steven Tyler and Disney would love nothing more than to end whatever connection they have to the other due to reasons. It’s a win win.

Aerosmith was barely enough to engage me to even get on in the first place. Hell, I skipped it on my last trip years ago.

Agreed! I am just saying I struggle to imagine a world where a light re-theme with original songs form a tv show that no one watched works out in the end? lol but this is why I am assuming they are going the new country bears route with this project. Disney Rock covers by the muppets

Other then the theme song, the show's soundtrack was pretty much all covers (even including Epcot favorite "True Colors").
