Does anyone have any actual info on the quality, level of actual muppet theming, or anything else relating to this overlay? I hope there is actual muppet theming, because I worry they could do the bare minimum and not change anything expect the video and the coaster car and audio.

I expect this to be a fully detailed retheme and that it will take longer than expected to complete.

Would be worth the wait if it’s quality. I’m sad to lose muppetvision but bears redo has me cautiously optimistic.

RNRR is a pretty great coaster....and I think the consistent lines have shown it is extremely popular! It was nicely designed, though I do with the original set pieces were more dimensional... I have not been able to get on it in years because of the lines always being ridiculously long... Far from a broken down coaster.... looking forward to the Muppet integration...hoping they do an amazing job with it....and maybe form a new "Muppet Courtyard" around it off of Sunset...

I haven’t been on it in a couple years because it’s constantly closing down for maintenance and when it is running the ride is rough. The ride has been in need of serious work for years but all they do is slap new brake pads on and call it a day.

One very good thing is that this ride exits through the gift shop, so hopefully said shop is brimming with sweet Muppets merch!!

With how tight the coaster is crammed together I wouldn't be surprised if the Muppets are mostly relegated to the queue, launch and exit while the main coaster has new 2D cutouts.

I would hope so. Something tells me we'll just get the same generic crap like in most of the stores. My only guess is we get a few plush and some shirts like what was at Muppet vision before they shuttered the store. I would love for them to have some cool unique muppet merch. That's just no longer Disneys style.

They did specify in the announcement that there would be Muppet Merchandise.
