Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Those were too separate points. The first, stop living in the past. The second, it's really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I'll let my Disney pals explain.

Awww, I totally *love* these!!! They're too cute and I totally agree with you -- very well said!

You're spinning your very bald tires by quoting everyone that suits your myopic opinions.

The Canadian music point alone was refuted perfectly by several people and you chose to ignore that.

We get that you can't stand not having cartoons everywhere you walk or high brow entertainment anywhere on property.
I quoted posts that were eloquent, logical, insightful and very well written. Who I quote and why I like someone else's post should be of no concern to you.

And, um, no, my tires are *not* anywhere near bald.

This is my car, and just like my viewpoint on this topic -- it is forward thinking and progressive.

This is your car, and just like your point of view, it is old, busted, dated, and stuck somewhere in the 1980's.

My opinions on the Frozen are not myopic. Quite frankly, I feel that your opinion is myopic because you cannot accept change. And, I kind of hate to use the word *accept* -- since you have accepted it. After all, you're still here whining about it. And, I'm positive you'll return to Epcot to see the new Frozen attraction.

You also referred to my comments as "spinning my very bald tires" -- but it's insignificant when looking at the big picture. For instance, look at your busted car, it has the biggest and strongest tires in world but it means nothing, and it certainly can't be excluded for being ridiculous much like your argument.

I totally respect and understand the disappointment, but that's life. Just give yourself an opportunity to enjoy something new. You might just like it, if not, there are other things for you to enjoy and look forward too. I'm sure you're excited about Avatarland and Star Wars Land. We can't win them all.

As for your last sentence, it makes no sense to me. It's Disney, cartoons are everywhere, so if I see them in World Showcase I'm not going to flip out over it.

LOL @ this notion of *high brow* entertainment at Disney, too -- that is so beyond funny to me. I can only that hope you're not serious.

With the exception of Victoria & Albert's and possibly Cinderella's castle suite, Disney is the absolute *last* place on Earth that I would consider to have *high brow* entertainment or high brow anything, for that matter. I *love* Disney but come on.

Yet despite your use of fun gifs you have very few people agreeing with you.

Maybe it's because you're an immature kid or maybe your opinion isn't very popular. Maybe a majority of people don't want a shoehorned pavilion to ruin the thematic flow of world showcase. Maybe people wanted one day for that expansion pad to be more than a meet and greet because some of us are grown ups and don't care to meet some college girl who's making 10 bucks an hour in between classes and keg parties.

A progressive WDW would make my day, too bad they're a theme park that is 100% reactive.

Another interesting example of a "Frozen makeover" via reddit. Note the "7 Princess Shapes".

Looking through my pantry I have a package of Star Wars fruit snacks and a box of Monsters University mac and cheese (I should probably check the expiration on that). I'm trying to figure out if y'all think the "Frozen hysteria" is somehow ACTUALLY unique, or if you know very well that it's a totally normal thing that you're trying to exploit to make a point.

My "ugh" comment was about the two totally Norwegian princesses on the label yet none of the fun pasta shapes have anything to do with the movie.

I don't have a problem with the movie at all man, I really dont. It's hugely popular and successful and people seem to love it. I have never been into disney movies with a few exceptions and that was only because I managed a video store when I was younger and Hercules was the one I chose to play because we were under strict rules as to what we could play during the day.

I can see how I might come off as anti cartoon but it's purely because I like that I can walk around world showcase and enjoy myself taking in the countries and culture. But I am just not going to accept cartoons front and center there. It just doesn't belong and it never will and the long awaited tenants of the coveted expansion pad is a meet and greet...

If you prefer, we can redefine having "a package of Star Wars fruit snacks and a box of Monsters University mac and cheese" as the new normal.

Nevertheless, my reason for posting aligns with

That said, I guess they can put Anna and Elsa on a box of frozen peas and all would be good with the world.

Thank you so much!!! I just can't take any more whining about this ride or Epcot.

ARGHHHHH!!!! Cynthia feels your frustration! You cant take it anymore...but your still here.

You are whining about people who are only trying explain their opinions and you focus on Frozen even though 99.9% of the posts in reference to the layover being a bad idea have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Frozen.

Grasping the larger picture can be difficult for some. Perhaps posting a GIF of a shiny Lamborghini as a representation of your viewpoint will mask your inabilities to formulate a proper rebuttal towards the actual topic and your lack of providing anything other than repeated assertion.

Not to mention bringing up a thread no one posted in for days. If you're so annoyed, let the thread DIE.

Unless her true purpose is trying to get a rise out of people.

Funny that people say cartoons are appropriate because it is Disney, and yet the 1930s are the only time period where Disney exclusively worked in animation. By the time Walt Disney found his biggest success, at the end of his life, the animation studio lamented the near total lack of interest he showed in the department because he was mostly consumed by Disneyland and EPCOT with live action being his film focus for about 20 years.

Yet, everyone here says there's "nothing to do at DHS". Because since you don't feel like them watching it 20 times a year, live action shows should be replaced by toy story playland.
