Typical around August 17-24

But if you want the EXACT date...August 20, 2014 at 1030 hours and then checked back at 1500 hours. Still 20-30 mins.
You're probably being sarcastic, but do take note that 1030 hours would not be accurate, as I don't think World Showcase opens till 11.

Ok, the current accept figures for NFL and DA are $450M and $265M, respectively.

And no, DA isn't pure expansion space it sits where Amity/Jaws were. Which included a pretty significant water basin for the Jaws attraction.
Are those the same figures that put Next Gen / MDX at "approaching $3B," because that's a garbage number too.

You're wrong on that.

Not all rides are done by Disney Imagineering over at Tokyo Disney.

Go research that park. Disney only own a partial stake in the parks, and they are run and owned by a different company.
The bolded sentence is true (although the partial stake isn't as clean as one might suspect), and everybody knows it -- no research necessary.

However, the contract with Disney prohibits OLC from going elsewhere for attraction development.

No You're wrong on that.

Go do your research

All rides at Tokyo Disney Resort and every other Disney resort are designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. You are correct that the resort is run by a different company, but Disney doesn't own any of it. OLC licenses the rights from Disney to operate it as a Disney resort. But every single ride, show, and building is designed by WDI. Even the concept of TDS is developed from a Park they wanted to build in Los Angeles.

And no I haven't been to TDR but I have spent more time than Id like to admit in a Cedar Fair park. I don't need to go to TDR to realize that it is above and beyond the level of any Cedar Fair Park.

On how WDI spends........

New Fantasyland, with two D-tickets, two restaurants, great theming, a new circus area with a moved Dumbo, and some M&G's, the rumored cost was $400-500 million I believe.

Diagon Alley, with two E-tickets (or one E and a D +), one restaurant, and amazing theming throughout the whole land including the various shops, the rumored cost was about $250 million.

Doesn't take much to see something isn't quite right here.

We don't oftern get to see concrete numbers associated with these projects but I did come across two lien documents for the Fantayland expansion:

Structural Steel and Erection, Dumbo the Flying Elephant - $712,275
Structural Steel and Erection, Fantasyland Train Station - $263,822

Suckers! When I had double Dumbo built in my foyer, I only spent $548,000 on the structural steel and erection! Of course, I used "Honest Tom" (@Tom ) our world renown local construction expert.

What date you go when waits exceeded 20 minutes for Maelstorm? The EXACT date.
I have been several times per year for the least 10 years, during different times of the year. I can assure you that Maelstrom was extremely hit or miss on wait times. Ive seen it range from 10 minutes to 50 minutes at any given time of the year. To act like Maelstrom NEVER had more than a 20 minute is just plain ignorant. Would you mind posting any pics of you at TDS?

Museums educate. Theme parks entertain. Although Epcot's World Showcase has the potential to inspire, it should not be the sole basis of one's knowledge and understanding of world history and culture.
Bullocks. Theme parks have always featured museum-esque vignettes and exhibits. Museums are a big part of the wider hemmed entertainment industry.

Show me where you got that information from.
It is incredibly common knowledge. You can read about it in countless places, including books published by Disney. Or maybe read the Oriental Land Company website. Why don't you show us your evidence that Walt Disney Imagineering is not always involved?
