Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

So has anyone gone through the trouble of outlining on a MAP (like Google Earth) Both where the current ride building is and overlayed with the plans for the new building to get a better idea of how the pavilions will look. I have seen the maps and the plans separately but I am having trouble visualizing it all together.

Yea, iv'e seen those drawings before, I was more referring to an actual overlay with an Aerial Image of the Map like from Google Earth or something like that. Just to make it a little more clear on what is going where. Maybe it's just me, I don't fully understand how the added building will look compared to where the current ride building is now.

At the moment, you can't see the pad where the new building will go because it is backstage. So, there are several options. Disney could keep it somewhat hidden with landscaping and just make the entrance visible going into the Norway courtyard. Or they could build the entrance at the front of the pad so you enter from the main WS pathway. However, we don't know. So it's going to remain difficult to visual until we have more details.

Are there any rumors as to what the frozen ride will be, and what it will be called? And what is the (new?) 13,000 square foot structure between Norway and Mexico for?
No details that I've heard; I don't even know if they are keeping the ride system or installing a new one. I keep coming to this thread to look for updates, but it's 250 pages of sadness/frustration/ire/angst over the conversion, and very little information ABOUT the conversion.

The new building will house a meet and greet, apparently similar in scope to the FL Fairytale Hall, and bathrooms. I can't imagine that there won't be an all things Frozen shop as well.

With all due respect, if you just read the very thread you are posting in, you would have found this information.
In all due respect... This thread is over 280 pages long. I've been following it, hit or miss, since it started. The VAST majority of posts are beating the dead horse of why the conversion shouldn't happen. Do I like it? No. But it's happening.

Maybe it's time for a second thread - one dedicated to ONLY construction updates, news, and rumors and leave this one for those who want to express their opinions about the appropriateness of Frozen in Epcot and the associated general Epcot is going to Hell in a handbasket comments. For the record, I HATE what is happening to Epcot, but when I'm looking for NEWS (and rumors) about the latest "project", sifting through a hundred or more "complaint" comments to find an occasional piece of information is very frustrating...

I honestly dont mind Norway being expanded for a M & G, as long as the theming stays as Norway and not Frozen. Every time I walk by Norway, the footprint of the country seems smaller than every other one, but it could just be my perception.

Well there goes the opportunity for a new pavilion. It makes me sick to think that some cartoon castle will clog up the WS skyline.

Since you know there will be a castle built, can you please tell us which one it will be? The castle the girls grew up in, or Elsa's ice castle?

Fear of change, and expectation of disappointment. Sadly no hope exists around here much.
Big difference between fearing change and voicing concern over loss of theme and purpose. Hope does exist, but seriously, considering the amount of money this film has grossed and TWDC's decision to take the most absolute cheapest route possible to honor said film with an attraction stuffed into a pre-existing one is a sign of how far a company once dedicated to CREATING has fallen under a spell of cheapness.
