Hey everybody.

I remember seeing a link to a site showing Disney Characters and when/where they were spotted.

Does anybody know what I am talking about? I searched the forum and can't find it anywhere.

Thanks alot

I am not sure about the link, but if you get there when the MK (or I am sure any of the others) opens the courtyard in Main Street USA is a great place for Meet and Greet, I always go to the MK at opening and the lines are not as bad for autographs and pics etc.

Hope this helps! : )

Usually on the maps now you can see where characters are doing meet and greets. Any particular character you are looking for?

The site used to be toonfinder.com but all it is pictures now. It used to be a full site about chracters and where you could meet them, but that main site shut down in october.

There used to be a site that listed all of the characters and their locations; I think mkt used to run it.
And what a great site it was - very useful when it came to searching for those character that you just had to meet

Or you could just go to guest relations and they will tell you if the character you want to see should be out that day and where he/she will be at what time.
If you just want pictures, there are some good ones in the photo albums here.

you could always ask one of the cm's they are so helpful when it comes to certain characters and the places they are at.. last year in epcot my daughter and i were waiting for my husband to get back from the restroom, we were waiting in france near a bakery( the name slips my mind) and i kept seeing a flash, well the sign above said arcade so that thats what i thought it was ...till the bulb went off in my head and i realized , after i looked up a little higher and seen the big mickey hand pointing in that direction....well i grabbed my daughter and we got the autograph and a great pic with belle and the beast..my daughter was so excited..usually you only get to see the two of thyem together either in the parade or a show...it was great..then to top it off princess aurora was right across from them in her own litle setting..so cool..

yeah, there was toonfinder. It's RIP now. I used to be on the staff in charge of WDW, but alas, no more. however, most of my photos were donated to the WDWMagic Characters account in our photo albums here. Check them out.

update, the toonfinder name was sold to a DLR cast member who runs his version of the site now. Needless to say, it's not as good as before.

Speaking of Disney autographs, I read something on a site... that when a person trains to be a character, they're actually trained to sign a certain way as well. While that makes sense, it's something I never even thought about.

Any of the Cm's of knowledgeable shed light on this?

I DID see two different Minnie Mouse signatures on two different websites though, so it makes one wonder...

time to break some magic...

yeah, the CM's are trained to sign a specific autograph, but different performers can sign 2 entirely different versions of the same autograph. Not to mention, only WDW and TDL are extremely about "legal" autographs. DLR and DLRP really don't bother with that, but rather accurate portrayals.

Thanks mkt :) I find it very interesting. "legal" and different "versions"... intriguing indeed.

I am not a CM, but my children have autographs from Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum and they were unique, yet mirror images of each other.
It is hard to believe this would be a random occurrence.
