Disney Channel Games?

Does anyone have any information about the disney channel games? I've heard that they are taping this week. Do you need tickets? Are they taping this weekend? We leave this afternoon, and i was hoping to take my daughter.

the DC games are at the WWOS and take place this week. on the last day there is a big concert with jonas brothers,cheetah girls and other disney channel stars performing. i read on a website the the concert will start at 7pm and last till 12am. disney channel stars are to take part in the games.

yesterday the jonas brothers, selena gomez, some of the cheetah girls and some cast from camp rock where in disney hollywood studios taking part in a car parade.

im so gutted i wont be there!

You DO NOT need tickets to see the Disney Channel Games being recorded. you only need tickets if you want to see the concert, this Saturday.

Just in case anyone was getting their hopes up, Miley Cyrus pulled out of her performance at the DC games, so looks like some people are going to be disappointed.

My family and my brother's family have been at WDW all week (while I'm here working ) and were on Everest last night with some guys named The Jonas Brothers and another guy who my daughter said is named Kyle (I think)-along with their security.

This morning everyone went to Wide World of Sports to see some of the taping, and a guy said that there were tickets at the 'will call' for Saturday night's concert. When my brother told him that it had been sold out since March, he was told that tickets not picked up last night were being given away today. So now, they're going.

I think last year is the first time they did it. Basically they get the kid stars from all the Disney Channel shows and they compete in teams doing different games and events. Then they have a big concert. Short segments of the "games" play on DC through out the summer.

Actually I think this is the third Disney Channel Games they've had.
I'm so bummed it couldn't have taken place last week when I was down there though. I missed all those stars!

the DC games are made up of disney channel stars from tv shows and films and music.
if i remember there are 3-4 teams -red,blue and green and maybe yellow.
they have to do certain games like the dunk tank to the obstacle course etc and then near the end of the DC games there is a big concert this year the Jonas Brothers, cheetah girls and others from the disney channel will take part in the concert. miley cyrus was due to take part but has withdrawn.
it takes place at the WWOS normally at the end of april/begining of may and is shown on tv round about june or july.
i know there are a few cast from the upcoming camp rock there.

last years commentators where from the suite life of zack and cody they where arwin and mr. mosby.
