I had the good fortune of experiencing Christmas Day 2009 at the Magic Kingdom...it was awesome! I was totally expecting it to be packed to the gills but an early morning rain shower kept crowds a little lighter. I'd love to do it again some day.

We did MK on christmas morning of 2005 and not only did it rain, but a ton of rides broke down. And it was still packed!
Loved disney at christmas, but i would never go there for christmas again!:xmas:

Here's mine:

  • Go to Disneyland Resort in California and stay in the Disneyland Hotel
  • Meet Panchito Pistoles or one of my other favorite characters (Chip, Dale, Stitch, etc.) in person (It appears I need to face my fears first before I do so :lookaroun)
  • Stay at one of the monorail resorts for 3 days, 2 nights (or for 4 days, 3 nights; perferibly the Polynesian as I have stayed there before for 2 days, 1 night in November 2007) UPDATE: It appears likely that we will be staying in The Contemporary Next year (sometime in 2013 or this fall), and I cannot wait! :sohappy: :sohappy:
  • Go to DisneyQuest
  • Go to BOTH Water parks
  • Have dinner and watch Wishes at the California Grill in the Contemporary

Updated this AGAIN!

what is Club 33 ?
From Wikipedia
Club 33 is a private club located in the heart of the New Orleans Square section of Disneyland. Officially maintained as a secret feature of the theme park, the entrance of the club is located next to the Blue Bayou Restaurant at "33 Royal Street" with the entrance recognizable by an ornate address plate with the number 33 engraved on it.[1]
Club 33 members and their guests have exclusive access to the club, which is not open to the public. In addition to beer and wine Club 33 has a full bar, although patrons must order directly from their server rather than the service bar. Club 33 is the only location within Disneyland to offer alcoholic beverages, while the park has a park-wide liquor license and has set up bars for private events.
Members receive complimentary access to both Disney parks whenever they are open plus early park admission several days each week. In addition members are entitled to complimentary valet parking at the Grand Californian Hotel and access to the Lilly Belle, the presidential car on the Disneyland Railroad. Club 33 members receive up to six Immediate Fastpasses when they insert their Club 33 membership card into any of the Fastpass kiosks and bypass the stand-by queue. Members are permitted to join the skipper in the wheelhouse of the Mark Twain and the engineers in the engine compartment of the steam trains.

Good Question!

So my list would include:

>Riding Space Mountain w/ the Lights on
>Staying at the Polynesian
>Experiencing Disney on Christmas Day (I know it would be packed but just for the experience:animwink:)
>Eat at Victoria and Albert's
>Ride the jungle cruise at 2:00am to experience the late night skippers:lol:
>Stay in WDW for at LEAST 2 weeks!

That's what I have for now but I am sure I will think of others!!

The MK on Christmas day is doable. You have to be there when it opens for (I think it maybe just for hotel guests) at 7 a.m. and leave by lunch. It is so exciting. We have done it 3 times. When it rained in 2009, the MK was not crowded until the rain stopped. We put on our ponchos and had fun. After about Dec. 27th, it really starts getting much more crowded.

My number one Disney dream has always been to be the Little Mermaid in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. Unrealistic? Yes. But it's my dream and will be until I die :)

I was at MK for the rope drop once and my sister and I were the first to ride Peter Pan for the day. It was the best feeling!!

somehow I need to make the rope drop at MK, I have 3 chances this trip, what time should I be there for the rope drop?
When are you going? If you're not going during peak season I think 30 minutes ahead would be enough. If you are going during a busier time I would suggest planning on getting there at least 45 minutes ahead :).
