Disney Boneyard?

Does anyone know where the Disney Boneyard is? I mean the one for WDW not the MGM one. I have heard people mention it but I have no idea where it is.

Also are there any tours given near it or pics on the web?

hmm...maybe you are thinking about the Animal Kingdom boneyard thingie. Its a kiddie area. But I doubt its the Animal Kingdom boneyard. I never heard of any other boneyard, unless disney has some kind of cemetary somewhere:lookaroun

For some reason I thought it was located to the East and a little North of the Magic Kingdom.

it's in the north service area and in the warehouses... it's backstage, and tours don't go there. guests aren't allowed in there...

there is also a boneyard/storage lot just north of the contempoary on the access road to the MK backstage area, that area was where the persian resort was to go. check out teraserver or globexplorer and look just north of the contempoary

Hey are there any pics of that area? Besides the overhead helicopter pics with the subs and such. If no pics, how about descriptions of whats back there? Also what is all that stuff at MGM at the backlot tour, I remember this huge room with a bunch of props (I'm guessing) but I've never had a chance to really check it out.

There are also lots of props (i.e. Mr. Toad/Kitchen Kabaret/Country Bears) scattered around in storage facilities in the attractions: It's a Small World, Haunted Mansion, etc.

As for MGM, I think you mean that giant row of old props in the queue for the Backlot Tour. I believe a LOT of old Disney stuff is in there, including the hot air balloon from World of Motion.

Perhaps they should consider tours for the die-hards...they can get several bucks out of that.

I've drove back in the back of there but i felt like i was gonna get shot by the mob so i turned around. :lookaroun But seriously folks and Mkt can prolly confirm this, there is NOTHING back there to see worth taking the risk of getting caught. Most of the photos that ya'll have seen with the subs and such are old pictures. Be a good guest and don't try to go into the employee areas, they will love you for it :lol: :wave:

disney would never do that, I would like to see whats back their though, maby borrow a few Space Mt vehicles that are rotting their.

I want to know whats back their, and is their really secret rooms with old props in the ride buildings, (Im sure their is probably one at JII's building, their is alot of interior space not used.
I seen the maps of the building.
