Meanwhile, on my recent fireworks cruise, our boat captain told us they are putting a new "Four Seasons killer" hotel on the peninsula between TTC and Contemporary. He also spoke of how moving "Walt's cousin Ray's" opening day speech was, told us that Walt personally put much of his collection of southwestern ephemera in the Wilderness Lodge, as it was his favorite hotel, and shared that the wave machine, which has been shut off since the 70s, only stopped working "a couple years ago" when that "gator showed up for dinner."
