Disney Anniversary Vacation

Hello! We just recently returned from our trip to the World over Memorial Day Weekend. It was such a lovely trip, so I thought I’d share with you.

Since I’m fairly new here, let me introduce the cast for this trip:

I’m Jenny. That’s me:

Loving the trip report! You guys are so cute and photogenic. Awesome pictures too! Can't wait to read more.

Thanks! We love to take pictures and have our picture taken!

OMG it sounds like you guys had an awesome day at AK! I like to see that there's other people out there just like me that enjoy spending time and actually doing different things in that park such as the Pangani Exploration Trail! I love your guys' Photopass pictures, they are so cute! The one of your husband showing his muscles and you admiring him, then him kissing you on the cheek and all the rest, you guys are so adorable! :) I also love all the magic you guys experienced that day with the extra set of fastpasses and the Mickey cookie!
Ok I'm done rambling.. haha sorry :p
Can't wait to read more! :)

We do love Animal Kingdom. I love to explore and especially all the shade in this park. We got some awesome photopass pictures. I'm really happy that I pre-ordered the CD. We had a magical trip and the cast was great at making it so special. There are more magical moments to come, so be ready! I should be able to post more either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Man how awesome would it be to have a no wait at the AK..especially on Everest, which just happens to be my favorite!! I am so jealous. And score one for getting a free cookie. Wahoo. That is pretty amazing as well. And be careful with that baby Simba photo, we got one done and shortly after, we had our son. LOL....just be warned. LOL. But still sounds like an amazing time.

The EMHs were great at Animal Kingdom! We got sooo much done in just an hour! When we took that Simba photo, the photographer told Chad "Don't worry. It's not a human baby." LOL

The rest was all too short, because we had to go get ready for our night out. We got dressed and were on a bus to HS by 2:30. We were going to take the boat to the Swan and Dolphin, but it had just pulled off when we got off the bus and there was already a pretty long line waiting for the next one. So we decided to walk. We took the nice path all the way to Fantasia Gardens.

2013-05-25 16.03.33 by jrab616, on Flickr

We walked up about 3:30 and were given a choice between a 30 minute wait to play the animated side or a 5 minute wait to play the Greens side. We opted for the shorted wait and got our clubs and balls and headed out.

Can I just say this course was hard! It was a lot of fun, but it was difficult. We had fun playing and it took about an hour and a half to get through all 18 holes because we got back up a few times and had to wait to play the hole.

After we were finished we walked through the Swan and Dolphin and headed on around to the Beach Club.

Chad got the cookie sandwich with coffee ice cream and I got the orange sherbet in a waffle cone.

He enjoyed his and I enjoyed mine. We got a table and sat on the patio to enjoy a bit of a rest and to cool off a bit.

Next we walked over to the Boardwalk to check it out. We enjoyed walking around and looking at everything. I bet it’s really cool after dark. We headed on up to the Buses and waited for a bus to Downtown Disney. It wasn’t too long before a bus came and we were off. It was one of the older buses and it was really crowded and not well ventilated. I started getting a little claustrophobic in there. I was very happy when we pulled up to the Marketplace and I was able to get off that bus!

Our first stop was at the Christmas store to order our ornament. I found one that I liked on sale and was able to get it personalized with the date for what it would’ve cost regular price. We also picked up a Mater ornament that already had the date on it. She wrapped that one up for us and gave us a slip to come back to pick up the other one (I managed to not get pictures of these somehow, so I'll have to take them at home and post them later).

Up next...DisneyQuest!

It was a mad house DTD trying to get over to the West Side. But we finally got there and walked right up to the window and exchanged our vouchers for tickets. We went on in and first stop was at Fix it Felix.

2013-05-25 19.53.48 by jrab616, on Flickr

We played for a little bit and then moved on. We rode the Astro Orbiter thing, and that was pretty cool. We played a few more games including Basketball Hoops, Skeeball, and Air Hockey. I didn’t shoot hoops, but I beat Chad at the other games we played. :p I love those games! We walked through the whole complex and played a few more games, but decided we were hungry and tired, so we decided to head on out.

Chad had been talking all week about wanting to go to Planet Hollywood, so we walked over to see what the wait time was like.

2013-05-25 22.39.03 by jrab616, on Flickr

It was about 30 minutes, so since he wanted to do it, we put our name on the list and they told us to wait in the bar area. We were able to get one seat at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks while we waited for our table. About 20 minutes into waiting the people next to us left and Chad was able to sit and we decided to just eat at the bar. We both ordered appetizers and enjoyed just sitting there. I was so tired and hungry that I forgot to take pictures.

We ate and headed back out to go pick up our ornament. It was already about 10:30 by now. We went into the store and I gave the lady my name. She noticed our anniversary buttons and noticed that mine was rubbing off (I had a nice little “tattoo” on my arm from where the sharpie and rubbed off the button) and asked what it said and what our names where. She disappeared and a few minutes later came back with my ornament and told us to wait just a minute. A few minutes later and she came back with the buttons. She had had the artist personalize the buttons for us! It was so sweet! So special! They looked amazing!:D

So we headed back out to the bus stop very warm and very tired. It took a while for the bus to come, probably 15-20 minutes. Then when it did come, someone had thrown up on the bus, so they had to decommission it to go get cleaned. It was probably another 8-10 minutes before they got another bus in. The line was getting pretty long at this point, so I was glad we were at the front. When they did finally get a new bus to come, they had to load two wheel chairs first. While they were doing that, another bus pulled up, so they pulled it around and let us go onto it while they loaded the wheel chairs on the other. Between both buses they seemed to be able to get most people that had been waiting. We were back at the resort about midnight and our DME packet was on our door. I called the front desk to see what we needed to do about getting to our breakfast reservation in the morning. He said the buses to Magic Kingdom would start running about 6:45, but since our reservation was so early, we might want to take a cab. We were in bed by 12:20.

Up Next...Our breakfast with Mickey!

The alarm went off at 5:30 again. About 6:00am we called the cab company and said we’d be ready about 6:30. We got ready to go, grabbed some powerade and met our cab out front. Off to Chef Mickey’s we went.

2013-05-26 06.41.11 by jrab616, on Flickr

The cab fare was about $22.00 from POP to the Contemporary. Not too bad and we made it in time for our reservation. We were actually a little early, so we went out to the marina to look around a bit before heading up stairs to check in.

2013-05-26 06.59.20 by jrab616, on Flickr

We got checked in and took our picture (which we didn’t purchase) and sat down for about 5 minutes before our table was ready. We were seated (they gave Chad a yellow napkin to signify his birthday) and had a few minutes to get our plates before the characters started coming around.

My first plate (I also had fruit on another plate that's not pictured)

Chad’s first plate

2013-05-26 07.14.33 by jrab616, on Flickr

The food was pretty good. I especially liked the potato cakes, French toast and strawberries. We were in the first room the characters came through, so they were pretty quick to get to us. We got to eat about half our first plate before Goofy came through.

2013-05-26 07.28.09 by jrab616, on Flickr

He was pretty good and interacting with the kids. Mickey was right on his tail though. Mickey was moving pretty quick through the dining room. He did see my button and asked how many years and wanted to see my ring. That was pretty cool.

2013-05-26 07.30.40 by jrab616, on Flickr

Chad ran back up to the buffet before Donald came through. Donald was moving pretty quick too.

2013-05-26 07.36.02 by jrab616, on Flickr

After he left, I ran and got another plate. Minnie was next and I didn’t want to miss her! I was pulling the cap off the pen for her to sign our photo frame and she sat down next to me and signed then took a picture with me.

2013-05-26 08.32.25 by jrab616, on Flickr

Then we took our normal picture and she was off to the next table.

2013-05-26 07.40.52 by jrab616, on Flickr

She was being really good with the kids. They we’re having so much fun with her.

Between Minnie and Pluto, they did the Birthday Celebration and the characters danced around the dining room and they brought us a cupcake for our Birthday/Anniversary Celebration.

2013-05-26 07.43.37 by jrab616, on Flickr

Pluto came over to our table and sniffed the cupcake and rubbed his belly. It was really cute.

2013-05-26 07.47.35 by jrab616, on Flickr

He was also really cute with the boys at the next table. They started scratching his back and he acted like a dog and moved his legs and wiggled. It was cute. We were only at the restaurant about 50 minutes, which is great for a character meal!

When we finished we headed upstairs to wait for the monorail. The family in front of us had a little girl about three or four in a stroller and they had a backpack on the back of the stroller. We saw the stroller tip twice with the little girl in it!

The monorail came after a little wait and we road all the way around to the Magic Kingdom.

2013-05-26 08.19.39 by jrab616, on Flickr

We got inside the gate without any trouble and waited for the welcome show. While we were waiting, there was a very loud “pop” sound. It sounded like a balloon popped, but was much louder than that. Turns out one of the strollers close to us had a tire pop on it. o_O Poor family. Not sure what they did to fix it or if they even could.

The welcome show started and we were inside the gate! It was beautiful! I didn't have a good angle to take pictures though. We walked up Main Street and through the castle. We stopped for Fastpasses for Peter Pan and headed over to Enchanted Tales with Belle. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before we were in the group to go inside. This attraction was really cute! I really like the way it’s so interactive! This Belle was pretty convincing too. She did a great job.

It was almost time for our trip to Neverland, so we headed that way and stopped by the Tangled bathrooms to look around, though we didn’t go in.

2013-05-26 09.40.39 by jrab616, on Flickr

When we turned around to walk back, Peter and Wendy had pretty much no line. We decided to wait and they closed the line off after us. There were only about four families in front of us. They were super nice and very talkative.

2013-05-26 09.48.18 by jrab616, on Flickr

Next we went on PPF. I love this ride. It’s always been a favorite. When we got off, we went to grab FP for Under the Sea. It was for a little later in the day, so we walked over to check out Gaston’s and the gift shop. Both beautifully themed.

We decided to check to see what the wait time was for the Princesses because they were on my list of things I wanted to do (and the app doesn’t have character wait times or FP times on it – weird). The castle was closed because of the show, so we walked around. The Fairy Godmother was out, so we stopped to see her.

We kept moving toward town square in search of those princesses. We grabbed a few photos on Main Street along the way.

The Princesses wait time was about 25 minutes long and we didn’t really want to wait that long for a character meet and greet, so we headed back up main street in search of an iced coffee. They had the Starbucks signs up, but it’s not open yet, though we did see a lady try to go into that building even though there is clearly a sign on the door saying it isn’t open and there was a CM standing there too.

Anyway, we went over to Tomorrowland and got a coffee float for Chad and Smoothie for me. While he waited for the drinks, I went over to get a FP for Space Mountain since it was time of our Journey Under the Sea. On my way back from Space I noticed that PUSH was out and about. He’s so fun to watch.

2013-05-26 11.00.09 by jrab616, on Flickr

Once we got our drinks, we stood for a few minutes and watched him interact with a family. He was asking the kids all about their aunt and uncle (parents were inside the store) and found out they recently got married. He made them reenact their wedding dance in slow motion.

2013-05-26 11.01.29 by jrab616, on Flickr

It was really cute. Then he wanted to meet the brother (the kids parents). He asked the kids what their names were and went right outside the door and yelled their names into the store. It was so funny! Everyone was rolling. They did come out and talk to him for a while, but we had a date with a mermaid. Chad had finished his float, but I was still working on my smoothie, so we stored it in the backpack and rode the Little Mermaid. It was really cute. I enjoy this one too. We slowed down to a crawl several times, but it was still enjoyable.

After our Journey Under the Sea we walked over to Storybook Circus to check it out. We stopped at the bathrooms by Gaston’s on the way and he was out. The line was already cut off for him, so I snapped this shot which I thought was cute.

The line for Dumbo was about 80 minutes, so we skipped that one. We walked through the gift shop and it was really cute. Minnie and Daisy had about a 10 minutes wait, so we stopped to say hello.

Donald and Goofy was only about 5 minutes, so we saw them too.

47514670298 by jrab616, on Flickr

Can I just say that I’m glad we had already met all these characters? The lighting in this tent is awful and the pictures turned out pretty dark.

Then we headed back over to Tomorrowland and went to get a FP for Buzz Lightyear since it was time for our FP for Space. When we put our tickets in it told us it wasn’t time to get a FP yet. I said it wasn’t a big deal and we would just wait a few minutes, but the CM standing there gave us two fastpasses and let us go. Cool! So we headed on over to Space with our free FP for Buzz in our pockets. This is probably my least favorite of all the coasters at Disney. I think it needs a major upgrade. It’s pretty rickety.

2013-05-26 12.32.00 by jrab616, on Flickr

We still had a bit of time left before we could use our Buzz FP and we were going to ride the people mover, but the line was about 20 minutes! So we decided to try to get FP for the Princesses instead. Their FP was for about 4:30 or so and we weren’t planning on being in the park at that time, so we got one for Mickey and walked around a little.

2013-05-26 12.44.05 by jrab616, on Flickr

Snow White was out, so we got in line to see her. They shut the line down after us on this one too. She was great! She nailed the voice and she really took her time with the kids. It was cool to watch. The line moved a little slow because of this, but that was okay.

2013-05-26 13.15.23 by jrab616, on Flickr

It was during this line that I realized the ink on my button was beginning to melt and I didn’t want it to rub off so after we met with Snow White, we went into the Emporium and asked for Tape to put across it.

We walked back up to Tomorrowland to ride Buzz. The FP line was LONG! It moved pretty quickly and we only waited about 10 minutes. I don’t know what I hit, but I maxed out my score.

Chad doesn't look to happy about my score! I was just in awe.

I wasn’t trying to max it out and I never get that many points. EVER. I’m usually the one at the bottom for this one. I was so excited about it. It was really cool. When we got off, we noticed that the line for the fastpass entrance was all the way down by the Laugh Floor Entrance.

We took a few more pictures on Main Street.

A flash on this picture would have been nice...

We were about ready to leave at this point, but we were hungry, so we decided to head over to Gaston’s to get a pork shank and a Lefou’s Brew. We were just going to get it to go, but while we were waiting in line, I noticed a couple get up and went over and grabbed their table. I’m glad I did, it was nice to sit in the A/C for a bit. The pork shank was GOOD! It was so much better than a Turkey Leg! I liked the Lefou’s Brew too. But I love pretty much anything apple, so I wasn’t too surprised. Chad liked it all too.

We still needed to use our Mickey FP on our way out. While he didn’t have much of a line, we still used the FP and pretty much walked right in. Mickey was good too. He was being pretty playful.

47514670322 by jrab616, on Flickr

When we finished with Mickey we walked out to the buses about 2:30 or so. We stopped for a picture at the entrance. This is one of the pictures that didn't end up on our CD for some reason. Glad I had him take one with my phone too.

2013-05-26 14.37.13 by jrab616, on Flickr

Again we waited a bit for the bus to come, but not too long. We got back and changed into our suits and grabbed our mugs and headed to the pool. Chad went into get our drinks while I scooped out a table. I found one! We actually got into the pool this time instead of just laying out. They were doing kid’s games at the pool, so that was pretty fun to watch.

2013-05-26 16.56.51 by jrab616, on Flickr

When we got out of the pool, I laid down and fell asleep in the shade for about 45 minutes. Chad woke me up when he noticed I was in the sun. We chilled for a little longer then headed back to the room to shower and change for the evening.

Up Next...Dinner and EMHs!

We headed back to the bus stop at 6:30 or so and there was a bus there but the line was long, so the bus was long full before we got close. We waited for the next one and it took a little while for it to come, probably about 15 minutes or so, but two Epcot buses came in that time frame. Once it did finally come, I started stressing a little bit over the time, because it was about 7:00 when we got to the park. We had plenty of time, but I didn’t want to be late. We made it through the bag check, but we went to the regular turnstiles and when I put my card in, it wouldn’t read it. It wouldn’t even do it for the CM. It eventually worked and we were on our way down Main Street. We checked in at the Plaza Restaurant and were seated pretty quickly.

2013-05-26 19.57.41 by jrab616, on Flickr

Both were pretty good, though Chad said he wouldn’t get his again. I don’t think he like the combination of corned beef and sauerkraut. This restaurant isn’t very big and we could see the castle pretty well from the windows. We watched the evening turn from day to dusk and it was really pretty seeing the castle change colors.

I had purchased glow sticks before we left home, but forgot them the night we went for Fantasmic, so I had plenty of extra. I gave a pack of them to the family sitting next to us. They really enjoyed it. In fact, we were leaving about the same time and the dad gave us a $10 bill and said this is for your tip for your server covered by us. It was really sweet.

When we left the restaurant, we went to get a FP for the Princesses. We tried to stop to get a picture on Main Street, but it was so crowded with people lining up for the parade it was nearly impossible. We got a couple, and they turned out better than I expected.

47514670328 by jrab616, on Flickr

47514670331 by jrab616, on Flickr

We grabbed a FP for 9:15 for the Princesses and noticed that the wait time was at 85 minutes! And since it was about 8:45 we decided to sit on the curb in front of the town square theater and watch the parade. I pulled out the glow sticks and made a necklace and bracelet for each of us and still had 4 extra bracelets. I gave them to the kids sitting in front of us. They were happy.

The parade started at 9:00 and it was amazing as usual.

2013-05-26 21.06.39 by jrab616, on Flickr

There were a couple of really long breaks in the parade though, so I’m not sure what happened. We were right at the beginning of the route, so something must have been going on back stage. When the parade was over, we ran straight into the theater and got in line. The line was only about 10 minutes, but we used our fast passes and were the second family in.

Cinderella was great. Her photographer, not so much. These are probably the worst of the pictures on our CD.

47514670337 by jrab616, on Flickr

But she was great and very talkative. Next was Aurora. She wasn’t really selling the character. A bit awkward to me.

47514670344 by jrab616, on Flickr

Rapunzel however was great! She really played with us and set up a “smolder” shot with us. We were laughing so hard, it was hard to stop smiling. She told us that she liked us and that she would have to paint us onto her walls.

Right before the last little segment of the fireworks, the whole group that was sitting against the railing got up and left. It was not a great time to be moving and they blocked the view for a lot of people. But, we were able to get a little closer for the end.

After the fireworks were over, we waited a few minutes and walked through the stores to Adventureland. We decided that we wanted to get FP for Big Thunder, so we headed there first. We got our FP and decided to skip Splash Mountain. We headed to Pirates instead. The line was only about 10 minutes. It was good as usual. We checked the line for Jungle Cruise, but it was pretty long still and we figured people were trying to get those last few rides in before the park closed to the public. There was no wait for the flying carpets and Chad hadn’t ridden them before, so we jumped on.

Tink and her friends were still in Pixie Hollow, so we stepped in there and were the second family in line. We met Rosetta and Tink.

Both were okay. They we’re really interacting all that much, but I figure that was because they were about to leave for the night.

Chad decided he wanted an iced coffee, so we walked back over to Main Street and the second parade was just going in front of the castle. We grabbed a picture and headed over to the cart in the hub. He got his iced coffee and I got an ice water. My throat was starting to feel a little scratchy and it was hot. We walked back through Adventureland and went to cut across to the bridge along the water where Frontierland and Liberty Square meet. We had to wait for the last float to go by and then we moved across the road to the bridge. We headed straight for Big Thunder and when we got off it was after midnight. The park was closed unless you had the Key to the World. We hit up Jungle Cruise and our guide was amazing! She was cracking the jokes right and left and some of them were ones I hadn’t heard before.

We could tell she was totally into it because she was beginning to lose her voice. When we got back to the dock, we went to get some more pictures on Main Street and in front of the Partners Statue.

We walked back through Liberty Square and went to Haunted Mansion. We didn’t go through the interactive queue. We’ve done it before and we were trying to make the most of the two hours we had left. After that we stopped by the Tangled Bathrooms because I wanted to see them at night. It was beautiful. I really wish they would do more with this than just a bathroom.

There was no wait for the carousel and this is another that Chad hadn’t done yet. I couldn’t tell you the last time I rode, so we jumped on.

We decided that we wanted to go do Buzz again, so we walked around the castle into Tomorrowland. We rode it and tried to figure out what I had hit earlier, but it didn’t work. There was still no line when we got off, so we got back on and rode again. Again, neither of us even came close to 999,999,999.

2013-05-27 02.01.24-2 by jrab616, on Flickr

The line for the people mover was non-existent now, so we rode that.

Chad mentioned that he had never been on the Indy cars before, so we went and rode that. Again, no line and we got right on. It was 1:55 when we got off the Indy Cars, so we headed right to Buzz and rode one more time. When we came out, everything was closed. It was a nice walk down Main Street and straight to the buses.

We walked up as a bus was pulling off, but it couldn’t even get everyone waiting, so we didn’t feel too bad about it leaving. Another bus pulled up not too long after and they started loading the wheel chairs. Another bus came behind it and like the night before they brought it up to load while loading the wheel chairs. We were just getting to the front of the line and they opened the bus with the wheel chairs up to other guests, so we were the first ones on that bus which meant a seat! I fell asleep on Chad’s shoulder on the way back to the resort.

Our boarding passes for our flight were on our door when we got to our room. I had planned to try to pack some before laying down, but I was too tired and just fell right into bed about 3:15.

Up Next...EPCOT, our last day

We definitely saw you guys down there!! Not sure if it was at Pop (we were there the same time, in the 70s building), on a bus or at one of the parks but the first picture I saw of the two of you I remember seeing you guys somewhere! Loving the TR so far!

It wouldn't surprise me. We seem to be pretty easy to spot and remember. :p

I love how the CM took care of your button, mine always wears off and I can never figure out how to get them to stay on through the entire trip when we have them so kudos! And they look fantastic may I add...

I haven't come close to the 999,999 yet either. Thankfully we are not alone!!!

And thank you for informing me they have sherbet at Beaches and Creme always thought about going there but allergic to dairy so its sort of hard, but I must stop in now!!!

You guys are too cute! I pre-ordered the photopass plus cd and reading your trip report makes me really glad I did!

Yes! I am so glad we pre-ordered the CD. It's so worth it. I think we ended up with about 300 pictures in just 4 days! We stopped at just about every photographer we came across. I do wish they had more photographers at more places throughout the parks, especially in Epcot. I wish there was one in every country. But I'm so glad we got our pictures. Pre-ordering is definitely the way to go!

I've never had problems with the buttons rubbing off before, so I couldn't figure out what was going on. Then I realized that I've never had one with writing on it in the summer time and the ink was actually melting from the humidity! o_O The CM that did Chad's birthday button put tape over it, so when we had the special pins I definitely wanted to get tape on it as soon as I realized what was happening!

The sherbet was so good! I like ice cream, but I'm not a HUGE fan and after being out in the heat all afternoon, I was not wanting the dairy. I really enjoyed it.

Monday, May 27th

We decided to set the alarm for 7:30 today, so we could sleep in a bit, but still get up and get to the park. So we got up and got packed and headed down to Classic Hall. We dropped our bags off with Bell Services and made sure we were good to go with our flight and DME transportation. We grabbed some drinks and headed to the bus stop for our last day at EPCOT. When we got to the park we went straight for Sorin’ to get FPs. The sign said they were going for 11:15-12:15. Chad and I looked at each other and said by the time we get up the hill to get them it will be 12:00-1:00. I sent Chad into the FP line and I sat on a bench just outside the ride. He came back with FPs for 12:00-1:00. Our next stop was Test Track. The sign said the wait was 20 minutes. I couldn’t get my app to work right (it was giving me times for MK?), so I couldn’t check there. When we got over there, the line was all the way back toward the entrance for Mission Space! It now said the line was 60 minutes. There was no way we were waiting in that line, so we hopped in the single rider line. The wait was still about 30 minutes and when we got up to the front, the ride stopped. Luckily, they got it up and going fairly quickly and we were moving again. We got put in the same car! As for a ride review…I like the old one better. I like the neon lights and things, but I didn’t get it. It didn’t make sense to me. I’m not sure what was going on. Maybe if the screens had been working it would’ve made more sense? Or maybe if we had gone through the regular queue? I don’t know. We did see our cars’ report on the last screen before you get out, but that was it. It was really weird. We stopped for a picture with the Camaro, but I think I put in the wrong email address, so it was never sent to me. Here’s the one I took:

We stopped into Club Cool next. I picked some good ones to try, but Chad didn’t like the ones he picked. We both know to stay away from the Beverly since we frequent the World of Coca Cola in Atlanta every so often. It was a nice little place to get a quick drink and cool off.

We got a few pictures:

World Showcase was just about open, so we decided to head that way and see what we could without going too far.

Not much was open yet, so we relaxed for a bit and enjoyed the scenery in Canada.

When they did open we went into Canada and watched the Circle Vision show. It was pretty good. When we came out of there we walked through the shops a little bit and decided to start heading back to Sorin’. We stopped in the UK to walk around the shops a little on our way.

We got to Sorin’ at 11:55 and there was a very large group just standing at the entrance. The wait time for Standby was 180 minutes! Who would wait three hours for one ride? Anyway, Chad went up to see if they would let us in with our 12:00 FP and they did. The wait was about 30 minutes and they only had one line feeding to the boarding area. They did load all three boarding areas at the same time though. We ended up in the first boarding area and in row three, so we were on the left side of the screen on the bottom row. During this ride is when I realized I was starting to not feel well. I get motion sick sometimes, but this ride doesn’t usually bother me. It did a bit this time. But it wasn’t too bad and I still enjoyed it.

When we came out of Sorin’ we checked the line for Living with the Land – 50 minutes! What? No thank you. We checked the line for Nemo on the app and it was about 30 minutes. We decided to just skip them and head back to World Showcase since we had a limited amount of time. We decided to start in Mexico and walk back to France since that’s where we had left off earlier. Chad had talked about getting either Mexican or Chinese food for lunch and I didn’t really want the Mexican then, so we looked around for a bit and he decided not to get the tacos either. We walked through the bakery in Norway, but decided not to buy anything. The line for Maelstrom said it was only 15 minutes, but it looked longer to me and we didn’t feel like waiting, so we moved on.

We did stop in China to look around and we stopped into the quick service there and ordered a kids meal of sweet and sour chicken to share. It was pretty good. We enjoyed it. I was so hot and tired and my throat was getting scratchy, I completely forgot to take a picture. In fact, we don’t have very many pictures from this day at all because of that and they just don’t have as many photopass photographers in this park. We finished our snack and walked through the shops, but decided to skip the movie.
