Disney and Re-rideability?

Hello all

So i made my first trip to Six Flags last week and after experiencing all the rides one thing to stood out to me. The fact that none of them gave me the true urge to ride them again or a good memory. I know thats not the goal of SF but it made WDW stand out more to me. When you experience an attraction at WDW they have high levels of re-rideability (i know i made up the word. kind of like bud light made up drinkability).

So i was curious what do you guys think? Do you feel the same way? I always have the urge to re-ride everything in WDW but didnt in other parks.

I am right there with ya. I have been to MANY parks all over and I cant think of any one that I could go to every day and never be board. I crave Disney and all it has to offer. Its the Magic that Disney brings

The thing that makes me want to go on Disney attractions over and over again is the level of detail attractions. For an unthemed roller coaster there is little to miss and the only reason to go on it again is for the thrill. But you can go on BTMRR, E:E. Kali or HM and see something different each time. When I am ridding an attraction for the 5th or 6th time I try looking away from the action and see what else I can see. Inevitably I wind up having one of those "Was that always there?!" moments.

I completely agree. This is the same thing that does it for me. There's always new things that you may have missed the time before. After each Disney trip, I hear of a hidden Mickey, or a "little unknown fact" that I can't wait to go back and check out. Every time I think I've seen everything, I end up with a whole new list. At other theme parks, it is simply just the thrill of the ride & not much else.

which SF did u go to... I have a seasons pass at SF great adventure and I love going on those rides over and over. yea, they are not like disney rides, but I enjoy them differently and thats the reason I buy a season pass every year! I love basically all the rides and try to ride them multiple times during my trip

I agree with Master Yoda...aside from the fun each ride brings, the attention to detail and the hunt for little fun things is the key to re-rideability.

Not only the ride itself, but the ques that have theming. Always something to see or discover. The experience of the ride or show, not just the thrill of small adreneline rush you get at some other amusement parks. This is a 'theme' park, everything has a story.

It also makes it more bareable when traveling with young children. We've been to 6 Flags Great Escape and New England a few times each. If I see a wait time of more than a few minutes we usually just skip it. At WDW we will wait for the things we want, because the queues are fun.

Yes I agree, the disney rides are much more rerideable. Even though I have found myself a bit bored on rides like Pirates and IASW, but I think it was because I was sleepy. But for the most part I enjoy being immersed into these enviroments.

I did go to Busch Gardens for the first time in 10 years this year, and these were like the first "real" roller coasters that Id been on since going to SF years ago. So yea, they were fun and all, but after riding them a few times because there were hardly any lines, I got tired. It would have been nice to have a nice slow inside ride to enjoy in between all those thrilling rides. And thats when I started to miss disney. Between all those thrilling and fun trips on E:E and Space mt. you also have slow rides and I think it helps balances it out. BG didnt have that, so we ended up leaving around 3 or 2 pm as we pretty much did every major roller coaster in the park 3 times or more and we were ready to go. So yea, for the most part the roller coasters there are rerideable, but without any rides like Pirates in between, it can tire you out.
And plus, every disney coaster with the exception of rockin coaster, is long and fun. Whereas the BG ones were over so quickly. So disney all the way.

Especially if you don't go to The World that often.

I haven't been to MK since 2006...Next week is going to be interesting.:lookaroun
