Sounds like a Wonka computer question..

Wow.

If your Wonka Computer and my Global Command Center ever got together, we could probably figure out the secret formula for Coca-Cola, the mystery of the 11 herbs and spices Colonel Sanders uses for his chicken, and just how badly the 2024 version of Rachel Zegler's Snow White would have done at the box office without a year's worth of rewrites.

This is a Mix of Wonka computer so I could get information on each writer and research backgrounds.

Your contributor distinction is semantic, it does not diminishing her credibility.
Her background, as shown on Forbes and other journalist directories, confirms that she is a professional journalist.

Both articles come from reputable industry sources with well‐established editorial standards:

Variety’s Article:
• Reporter: Tatiana Siegel
• Credibility: Variety is a long‑standing and highly respected source for entertainment news, and Tatiana Siegel is a seasoned reporter in the field.

Forbes’ Article:
• Reporter: Caroline Reid (as credited on Forbes)
• Credibility: Forbes is a widely trusted business publication known for its detailed financial reporting on the film industry.

• Tatiana Siegel (Variety):
Variety is known for its broader narrative and industry commentary. Siegel’s reporting tends to capture the overall story and context behind film projects, which is valuable for readers looking for industry insights.

• Caroline Reid (Forbes):
Forbes places a stronger emphasis on financial and business aspects. Reid’s detailed breakdown of budgets and related financial elements provides a complementary perspective focused on the economic side of the film industry.

I’m sticking with Forbes for financial information but both are solid sources.

If you want to stick with 240 million reported by Variety or use Forbes 269.2 budget with a 55.5 rebate to bring total down to 213.9 that’s fine.

I’m good with both.

I’m sticking with the Forbe’s number at 213.9

Brian is sticking with 240 million

Interesting you didn't pick up on it

In your "Wonka" (Grok) results it lists Siegel's actual credibility where as for Reid it lists Forbes' credibility and not Reid's herself. This should give you pause in how much you want to believe Reid, as its clear that Reid has no known reporting credibility to her name, basically just piggybacking on the credibility of Forbes, ie she's not a reporter.

I mean if the "Wonka" results are calling out that Reid herself has no credibility then I don't know how much I would trust what she says myself.

Not going to play this game with someone Who seems to be driven by bias and frustrated by Caroline Reid. Not interested in some petty grudge against Reid.

She is a seasoned journalist, and if you have issues, then be a big girl and contact Forbes at feedback@forbes.com or Forbes Contact. Let’s stick to facts, not personal attacks.

Contact her, it will solve your problems. Might make you feel better Irish.

Tell her how you feel. Cry to them about it, Irish—

You, as everyone on this board knows, are exceptional at that.

Or go cry to Mother…
But don’t come crying to me. I can’t help you.

I'm just stating facts here, your own "Wonka" results show her own credentials don't list her as an actual journalist. Make of that what you will. I'm just point it out, you make your own decisions on it. If you choose to believe her over every other source out there, be my guest.

As for the rest of your post, there is no attack here and there isn't any reason for me to contact her or Forbes to "cry" about anything as I'm not crying. I'm just point out facts based on your own results.
