What about the character design is more absurd then, say, Captain America in his Avengers costume or Thor or Spider-Man? What about Ms Marvel, which was better written and directed then the vast bulk of the MCU, is more Saved By the Bell then Spider-Man?

Nah, the MCU’s done right by the character. They screwed up Ant-Man, made an unforgivable mess of Secret Invasion, dropped the ball on parts of Moon Knight and She-Hulk, but they did a good job with Ms Marvel on TV and in film. Which is what makes the reactions - and the baggage folks bring to the character - so interesting.
Big flop. But bravo Disney, you did right.
Yes, they produced excellently written and directed entertainment that was a great deal of fun, which is supposedly what everyone wants.

Shockingly, not the best measure of a film’s quality. Lots of great films get miserable exit scores and vice versa.
They should stop making films that no one wants to see. And again, see exit scores for the few people who actually decided to go.
