Disney and NASCAR

I'm not sure if Disney does this openly but, what if Disney sponsored NASCAR. How would the cars be decorated? Now understand that I"m not saying I don't like NASCAR, I was just wondering what everybody thinks at how Disney would like the cars to look? Humor is much appreaciated. How about Mickey ears pinned back to avoid drag. How about Donald as a driver, he would would be great because of his aggresive traits.

It would have to be on a team level or an event. When I went on RPDE I asked about why there is no races down there.

First NASCAR dictates when a race will be held at the venues and Disney wanted a say in it but didn't get it. Second NASCAR want more permament seating around the track to be build and Disney has held back on that.

The only reason you see cars from some of the drivers that are on the circuit is because the sponsors on the cars, drivers and team sponsor the RPDE. they just rent the track space from Disney.

Though it might be nice I would hate to see some of the artwork that could be done on some of the cars ruin with the bumps and scrapes they put a car through in a race.

You seem to have missed the point. I was asking what would the cars look like in a fun way as to how would Disney have them, and who would be a good driver. :D Up here in NJ, linden NJ was supposed to build a NASCAR track, would have brought alot of bussiness and jobs to the area. But from what I've heard the mayor at the time wanted more than NASCAR wanted to give and they pulled out.

In that case, I would say they would be the streamlined version of the car they have in the Motor Car parade at DHS.

Here's an idea...

In some of the toy stores at WDW they have matchbox-type cars for most of the characters. They are kind of...shall we say, interesting looking. I'll have to see if I can find my son's cars and post a picture. Those would make REALLY interesting racecars!

Lightning Mcqueen would be cool but Tinkerbell on he hood with dust from her wand flowing down the sides would wild.

Disney has been a guest sponsor for NASCAR teams at Daytona. The cars had different Disney characters on them for the race. I will see if my DS (big NASCAR fan) has any photos of the cars.

A few years back Disney was one of the sponsors of the Daytona 500, they had the pace car decorated with Mickey and such. They were used at a few other tracks that year as well. If I'm not mistaken it may have been the year they released "Herbie Fully Loaded". Years ago we took pictures of Disney inspired race cars that were in Downtown Disney and outside the ESPN club at the boardwalk. I'll have to dig them out and try to post them here if anyone is interested.

What if there were like small pipes that slightly protruded outward from the front fenders and actually released "pixie dust"? Then whomever is behind the car would literally be left in the dust?
Plus it would just look cool. Maybe not safe, but it would look cool:drevil:.

Here's a pic of my Mickey car from the '04 Daytona 500, but I think it would look much better if Mickeys ears were pinned back a little more like you said and maybe add the look of determination to his face like he wants to weeein!
