Looks like FXX is picking up syndication rights to Family Guy (season 16 onwards) as well, suggesting that a) both networks will be the exclusive non-broadcast syndication rerun homes of the show once Adult Swim/TBS' contracts for previous seasons lapse, and b) Freeform may become part of the FX Networks family in the future.

American Idol?

That's not produced by ABC, either. Fremantle and 19 Entertainment own it. I know that 19 Entertainment is part of Endemol Shine, but Disney doesn't have any creative oversight of that unit right now, meaning Endemol still makes their own slate without Disney's approval or direction (much like A&E Networks).

When did Freeform picked up Family Guy? Does this mean they might pick up reruns of The Simpsons? It’s funny that you mention that Slpy because Freeform use to be own by Fox when it used to be Fox Family.

On the subject of Europe, has Disney reallocated broadcast licenses for its channels to EU countries so they can keep broadcasting there? Once no-deal Brexit happens, if those channels are still licensed in the UK, those channels won't be able to broadcast in the EU legally anymore, especially Ireland which shares the UK feed of Disney Channel in their country.

I ask this because I wonder how it will affect the integration of the FOX channels there. We still don't know how the integration of those networks will work, and no-deal Brexit could affect that integration.

I think your reading way too much into the whole Brexit thing and how much it will effect the combined company.

btw Disney's cinemacon panel is later today. Will be the first time they will speak publicly since the merger.
