Disney After Hours BOO BASH

They may be dealing with a lower number of guests with the reservation system and most guests will want the 10 or More hour option to feel they are getting the most out of the cost.

AH events allow Disney to maximize turnstile counts but also giving a good percentage of guests a preferred customized experience.

And I doubt they will limit it to AH only going forward. The return of full events like MVMCP seems likely. Villians, Star Wars, Dapper nights, Concert nights, NYE etc. No end to the possibilities.

I find Epcot potentially one of the most intriguing. 10 P.M. to 1a.m. ?

The barges and SSE lighting can run without fireworks. Just speculation.

After Hours at Epcot isn't that intriguing until they put in more attractions -- When the Rat and GOTG opens, then yes.

If they really keep closing Animal Kingdom at 7 pm, then AH-DAK from 7-10 could be a huge draw, as the only way to experience Pandora at night.

Exactly. Epcot would probably be a year or more in the future. If at all. DAK has a ton of potential especially if they add another land that can be open at night.

I feel like the sell out dates for late sept & Oct just confirms to all of us that folks are planning their trips once the 50th celebration starts. Which makes me feel hopeful for my trip at the beginning of Sept 🤣

According to the WDW website, tickets have become available for previous nights that had sold out - the two exceptions are August 10th and October 31st.

Wow

We REALLY want this to be capacity/crowds like the old After Hours.......I hope this doesn't turn into to the MNSSHP/MVMCP crowds

We were REALLY nervous of the capacity and were a little relieved when dates sold out fast (suggesting low capacity)

The tons of speculation on this thread .....

Again, we are in the "ride rides" crowd; no matter what extras (if any) they "add" to the Bash, we wanted walk on rides like AH of the past....no value to extras in our camp...not what we paid for

And, maybe this is a quirk in the system....

Wow, based on the quick sell-out of multiple dates for this, I was planning on getting tickets to the Christmas version that I assume will take place. Now? I'm going to have to hold off and see just how limited the "limited capacity" turns out to be. It was already a tough sell for my wife at the prices they were charging but I had her 99% convinced so long as the prices were similar in December. If there's a chance that crowds will be too large to justify the price then neither of us will want to spend that kind of money. We already have APs so it's not like we can justify it by just not getting a park ticket for the day of the DAH event. Paying extra to spend the night waiting in lines just long enough to remove any value from the event isn't appealing. Maybe we'll be surprised and it will turn out that they just raised capacity from 5,000 to 6,000 and nobody will even be able to tell, but I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars on tickets for the December event until I know for sure.
