So you spent 2 billion?Ha! Somehow we ended up going for the 50th and 100th! One was a make-up Covid trip and the other was re-do of the make-up Covid trip which was not great.
So you spent 2 billion?
…I’m out of popcorn now. let me fix some more and you’re up!When everyone’s done painting all this in an overly positive light…let me know so I can cut through the fog?
Interesting. I have Disney+ and Hulu, both no ads, through Hulu at $18 a month right now. $2+ per month isn't awful, but isn't ideal either. With all the streaming platforms increasing like this in price, I think I need to finally jump on the subscribe to each a few months of the year to catch up and then unsubscribe the rest of the year. Here's the info on the new ad-free bundle.
Disney on Sept. 6 will launch a new ad-free bundled subscription plan with Disney+ and Hulu for $19.99/month, a 37% discount from the standalone plans.
Full list of the new pricing in the table below.

Remember that free spending has largely continued from the government juice period since 2020It’s not bad but it’s not great. I don’t think Disney is either too big to fail or in the worst straits but they definitely need course corrections; and a new CEO
I know this is pages ago, but from what I've seen, it is pushing people totally away. The people I've seen comment on the price increase aren't switching to ad-supported; they're completely cancelling D+.Seems like trying to push more people to ad-supported
Which is exactly why people hated cableSeems like trying to push more people to ad-supported
Well two things will cause massive sub loss:I know this is pages ago, but from what I've seen, it is pushing people totally away. The people I've seen comment on the price increase aren't switching to ad-supported; they're completely cancelling D+.

…the road to recovery begins with a new ceo and boardWell, that's not as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe not perfect, but I think Disney will do fine.
I'm not a betting kind of girl.Which is exactly why people hated cable
Well two things will cause massive sub loss:
1. Higher prices
2. Ad tiers
…bet me now. And add some zeros on it
don’t forget a new popcorn bucket and AP magnet.…the road to recovery begins with a new ceo and board
People who just go ahead and pay the increase don't go around and share that info. So, you're not hearing from them letting you and us all know all the price hikes on all the subscriptions they have that they just go along with.I know this is pages ago, but from what I've seen, it is pushing people totally away. Can I pick that up before the premium after hours event for only 25,,000…wait…16,000…wait….12,000…don’t forget a new popcorn bucket and AP magnet.
Valid losses at the box office is all on Iger... Disney stopped creating movies and driving the market, instead Iger took them on the "buy creation aka buy your competition" path, the bought Pixar, Marvel, lucas etc... and proxy their creativity to them.Remember that free spending has largely continued from the government juice period since 2020
Don’t fool yourself…any decline is bad
There’s no valid reasons for:
1. Attendance loses
2. Box office loses
3. Subscriber losses
…but go ahead and try, Swiss Guard
As your pontiff rots on the throne
10 million subscribers lost this year? With adds so that’s a bit more “churn” than you think (if you don’t think)People who just go ahead and pay the increase don't go around and share that info. So, you're not hearing from them letting you and us all know all the price hikes on all the subscriptions they have that they just go along with.
People who quit tend to let it be known because they're angry.
Anyhoos... for two quarters straight, Iger mentioned that the price increase had no significant affect on churn. Despite anecdotes.
