man... bob c really is being sidelined isn't he?
Iger running the earnings call? man... how can bob c try to carry any weight?
Iger's giving the confidence talk about CV19. Chapek will give biz talk.
They only lost two weeks of business out of 13 in the first quarter.Somehow Disney still turned a profit despite:
* Losing $1.4 billion in potential profit (key word being "potential profit;" they didn't actually *lose* money this quarter)
* Seeing a bump in debt obligations (not quite as big as I feared though)
* Parks being cratered
Interestingly, there's no use of the "going concern" language that other coronavirus-devastated companies are using in their earning report. Why?
So Bob’s still the leader because that’s what a leader does.Iger's giving the confidence talk about CV19. Chapek will give biz talk.

They lost nearly the entire quarter in China and nearly as much in Tokyo.Actually a bigger hit than what I had expected...since the US disruption was 10 days...
I didn’t get impression business was booming this year prior - however.
No doubtStill the same... Bob C isn't playing the role of leader. He's playing the role of worker bee...

How much of their take is from China or Japan?They lost nearly the entire quarter in China and nearly as much in Tokyo.
Domestically and Paris is where they have always made the vast majority money off their parks. Paris closed the same time as the domestic parks. They only own a share of the Shanghai and Honk Kong. Tokyo is a licensing agreement.Domestically.
