Who are you to crack on someone for being a newbie? You've only been a member here for a year... :rolleyes: And what "stuff" are you talking about? Remember, you were a newbie here once.... It's moronic comments like yours that stifle the sense of community here. I have to agree with ArielBelle that the number of people that seem to take it upon themselves to be unofficial moderators has gone up over the last few years. I think it's great that new people find their way here, but it peeves me when they get hammered with 15 "use the search function" responses. Some people are quite nice and helpful about it, but the ones that are jerks about it drive me up a wall.

Unfortunately, every forum has a small minority of members that most of us just shake our heads and wonder what makes them tick. My current favorites are the insensitive louts that gripe in threads concerning a death or accident at WDW. Makes you wonder when exactly they missed the point about a place like WDW....

So just do like the rest of us and ignore 'em! :lol:

i've been a member for a few months now, and a visitor for the last couple of years. the constant thing i've noticed on wdw magic is that a few people seem to do most of the posting, and some of them seem to know more about everything than anyone else. they are also happy to tell this to everyone. don't lose sight that the importance of wdw magic is lots of fun and the love of wdw. i actually know more than anyone, i'm just holding back until i hit my stride

Seriously though, the internet almost ruined my writing skills back when I was a kid LoLing it up in chatrooms. I have tried to become more of a stickler for spelling, and have also tried to put myself at a higher standard with my grammar so I don't sink to the low form of internet chat. I can usually forgive mistakes in most posts, but the one that I was complaining about was terrible.
well today was a bad day for Walt Disney World transportation to Magic Kingdom-if you were there around the hours from 10-2 you probably expirenced a vary bad line for the Monorail. we waited 1 HOUR and 30 MINUTES before we got on the Monorail. Then once on the Monorail we waited another 15-25 minutes to get to the station at Magic Kingdom. Reason 1. LOTS of people going to Magic Kingdom. 2.NO one was filling in space to get as many people in the Monorails that were there full and to releave the line. We got to the Station finally at 1ish. When we got there at 11:25. I will say we cheted disney out because they were giving out FREE fast passes to your choice ride and we said we had 12 people in our groupe when we only had 6. The reason i herd for all the Maham was that they think one of the Monorails got struck by lightning during a storm we had last night. Please tell me if this is true and if not if you know anything else tell me the real answer i would like to know. Also if this is the wrong spot for this discussion and you think it would be better in the News and Roumers sorry i couldnt decide.

Luckly our day turned out to be well we rode lots of rides and had a blast!

Also, is there any connection between the two complaints that you were talking about ArielBelle?? Are you trying to protect MickeyMan101?? I have no problem with the guy, but it gives me a headache to read that post. Thrawn might have another opinion on that.

Oh and by the way, I'm a really happy member of this site! I do believe that may have been the first time I have slightly snapped at another member. You can prove it or not I am going on with my life.

Thats where you're wrong - its quite easy for ANYONE to type the simplest of sentences and then find that when its read with a different emphasis being placed on different words then it can be taken out of context and become offensive.
