Discount on birthday cake with TIW card?

Hey everyone! I just ordered a cake for my Mom's birthday which we're having brought out after dinner at the California Grill. Typical 8 inch, green frosting with flowers. They took my CC when I ordered it but said I would pay for it when they bring it to the table, so I'm assuming it will be added onto the check. I have a TIW card which I will be using for the meal. my question is will I get the 20% off the cake as well? Anyone who has an experience using TIW card and paying for a cake please let me know!! Yes, you will. We've had specialty cakes served post-dinner at restaurants twice (Whispering Canyon & Yachtsman). Both times our TiW discount was applied to the entire bill including the cake. :wave:

As far as I know, the GF Bakery is the only one that actually charges you for your cake prior to your meal. This was good news for my friend, as she had her cake for a party of 8 and would have had to pay the automatic gratuity on a meal + cake had they tacked it on to the meal tab like all of the other bakeries. I know our bday cake back in August was tacked onto our meal bill at Chef Mickey's.

At least you're working with Chef Brian. He was really good at using my sketches and translating them into an actual cake design. We're hoping to have him create another cake for us when we go in Nov.
