Disneyland is offering 5 day tickets for the price of three, hence the 2 days free promotion. You can get this deal on Disneyland.com directly.
As for the $150 gift card, it seems nice, but keep in mind that DL is different for WDW. Their three hotels are more like deluxe adn high end moderates at WDW. You will drop about $200 a night on DL hotel. DL does not have the value hotels, since there are so many "good neighbor" hotels around it, including some that are a closer walking distance than PPH or DLH. Most people can get these hotels fro $100 a more a night, some even including continental breakfasts. You will save more on the hotel, than what you will get back in the gift card.
We went to DL in November and stayed at the DLH on DVC points, but had we paid cash for the hotel we would have stayed at a "Good Neighbor's" hotel. Checkout the DL website, to do package deals with these hotels. HTH.:wave:

Princess Ariel is right...Disneyland often offers ticket discounts (unlike WDW). The hotels are also more on the deluxe side, but are literally right in the middle of the action.
