Disappointed with AK restaurant choices

Unless there's a change I haven't heard of, the counter service at Restaurantasaurus IS McDonalds. That's what it was the time we visited, and that's what it still says in the 2008 guidebook I bought.

Yes, it is McDonald's Happy Meals, but Disney's adult burgers, etc. At least that's how the menu reads.


We've all come to appreciate Pumbas' sarcastic sense of humor. No worries! Believe me, I have thought the same thing many times....it's a different world that the kids are being raised in than when I was young. We were just glad to have food on the table - you couldn't be picky!

I've never been a fan of the choices at AK myself, but I did go to Restarauntasaurus on Saturday and felt that it hit the spot. Not the best place, but it'll do and the price range is decent.

I happen to think DAK and Epcot have BY FAR the best quality and most choice in quick serve dining at WDW.

This is even with the dumbing down that is prevalent.

But since WDW caters to a lot of Americans with very simple palates, there is no shortage of burgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken fingers and pizza.

And US 192 and practically every fast-food outlet known to man is literally just a mile away.

Give me a break! First of all, your parents didn't raise in 2007. The world changes. If anyone needs an attitude adjustment, it's you! Your posts are the first I've seen on this site that are snarky and scolding.

I didnt realise faux emotion or agreement was compulsory. Get over it, if you dont like what I post dont read it, I wont be upset besides youve no chance of knowing when Im being serious or not if you throw teddies at that post.

Perhaps the way my parents raised me helped me raise my kids in the time period you described? Just a thought.
