Dinosaur has seen better days

I just got off the ride and I'm kind of confused. The charging carnotaurous doesn't look any different from the past few months at least. He's been moving this whole time so I expected something else.

Anyone know, specifically, what's changed?
Except the Alioramous being removed awhile back and they added extra raptors to the spot not much..I'm sure they are just going to have the dinos break down one by one until they officially give the closing date..

I'm referring to people in here (and the Twitter post) who are talking about the running carnotaurous and saying he's moving again. I didn't notice any difference, he's been moving for a long time.

The 2nd carnotaurus AA has always been moving in the past couple months. What's been "broken" is the track it's on. Usually the AA starts much further back, hidden from view, then chases your vehicle as you escape, moving along its track.

I was there in October and it was indeed in B-mode. The AA moves (its head, mouth, and arms), but it was stationary in place near the ride path/vehicle.

I haven't been able to find a recent video to actually confirm that it's chasing again, but reports do indicate it is doing so again.

You can also tell by looking at the projected scrim.
In A-mode, the AA is blocking the blue scrim.

In B-mode, the AA is already passed the blue scrim.

All I have noticed is the missing Alioramus, which is either maintenance or just never coming back. Considering we have yet to have a closing date and my guess is it won't be before spring break at this point, I'd be surprised if it's not being fixed, but who knows.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown! The crazy thing is I thought it WAS charging this whole time; I knew it was supposed to be moving forward and it looked like it was (and I've been on A LOT in the past few months).

I guess I've just been getting tricked by the darkness and the moving vehicle this whole time.

It also doesn't help that it looks like the Carnotaurus isn't fully built out (no tail), so having him stuck in the out position reals that it's only half a dinosaur chasing you, which isn't good show.

Now that we know for certain this will be open through 2025, what do we think the odds are that this will get any real love from maintenance in the meantime?
I think it's clear that there is SOME work being done on the ride...fixing the chasing Carno and the new projections in the time travel scene were not expected. I don't know that we're talking complete restoration, but I think it's getting a good send-off.

Does anyone know why the glass shattering noise at the end of the first time travel tunnel and the booming sound effect when you return to present day were removed?
I'm still trying to figure out why they removed Dr Seeker's "Whoops" after passing the Sauropod.. My only guess is guests didn't realize they were going over the Tail of the Sauropod as it does react to it but, you have to keep looking towards the side it was on to see said reaction..

According to Joe Rohde, the whoops is actually in reference to the Sauropod burping in your face. Maybe it was removed because of the confusion.

Another audio change they did a few years ago was they altered the evasive maneuver part from "right! left!" etc to "left! right!" etc. I think this change was just to troll guests though. Either way, the commands don't match the vehicle movement.

Also, add me in to the people who didn't realize the chasing carno hasn't been chasing for a while. When I rode it the other day and saw it actually chasing it actually startled me!

I think this was meant to be you crashing through the laser grid into the past at the end of the time tunnel. Maybe they turned it off because it didn’t make sense once that effect broke
