I just got back from WDW (about 15 minutes ago :( ), and rode Dinosaur Friday morning first thing. I jumped on it twice and both times in the scene with the Carny (sorry a little tired so my spelling would be funny) chases you, the audio worked, he appeared, but he didn't chase after the cart. Was a little disappointed, but it was better than the fact that Splash Mountain was down for about half the day on Saturday.

Back to the original question, this is from WDW's official website:
Link to:
"Take a ride on this prehysterical spinning roller coaster for a wacky run that sends riders through a maze of curves, hills and drops. Even through the jaws of a dinosaur. Each car is free spinning, so you never know how great or small of a spin you'll be in."

No real reason for posting....all the Dinosaur talk just reminded me about after you get off the ride and the dinosaur is walking around the Institute....I love that part

Some of you said the cars on Primeval Whirl! had two rows of two seats...but Steve's pictures made it look like there was only one row of four...doesn't seem to comfortable to me...

I've been on a coaster like this, its called "The Exterminator" at Kennywood, PA. The car was four across, somewhat like a larger Doom Buggy. It has to be this way if it spins.

It could have been a teacup type car with row though.

actually...I've seen a spinning coaster with two rows of two seats...don't remember where, but the cars were themed like...well...cars! They had two rows and spun on an axis inbetween the two rows. Regardless, I hope this ride either has a separator between each seat or doesn't generate very big lateral G's...or this could be a painful ride...imagine a person on the side with three people slamming against him around the turns...ouch!

High lateral Gs and slamming into your friends is the whole point of the ride!

I like this area and I don't like this area...I like what it will do for Animal Kingdom but I hate the theming of this area...they could've easily made a "kiddyland that's not-so-kiddy" somewhere else in the park...like a section of BEASTLY KINGDOM

The coaster looks VERY boring...is there even a drop???

there are several drops...this coaster is 50 feet tall...I don't think it looks boring...I think it looks fun...provided you don't have motion sickness. I've just always been a fan of disney building coaster layouts only available in disney parks...and this is like every other Reverchon spinner...but it does have much more theming than other spinners. I personally like Dino-Rama. I like the music they play! I understood the theme very easily..but the street out front could use some streetlights or something...traffic light...I dunno...something else
