:D i heard that it was to spin is that meaning that when you are on the ride it spins or you spin it and if yu spin it how fast can the ride go.

if Beastley Kingdom is being built and if that is being put into the situation how can I find out what rides will be made in this area?

The car is supposed to spin, but it's controlled, you don't spin it... the ride it's not to fast, however, the spinning is very agressive... it spins when the track is turining... well.. that's how the ride we have in Mexico works.. and it looks just as the Animal Kingdom one... I dont like it... it left me with my neck hurting for a week.. :hurl:

yeap.. that's right.... but I've never had a problem before (including sky diving! and I'm a huge roller coaster fan... and as far as I know I dont have health problems )... let's remember that Disney had to change the Dinosaur ride since it was to agressive for little children (who wanted to see Aladar!)... what I mean is that this coaster looks like a kiddie coaster and not exactly as a thrill ride... I guess this the spinning of this one (Animal Kindom one) is not going to be so aggressive as the one I rode...:lookaroun

Then they changed Dinosaur back to normal.

ACtually, they didn't. 1 or 2 encounters with the carnotaurus that were taken out, as well as a lot of dialogue, asteroids, explosions, ect. The ride is a mere shadow of what it used to be.
They also very cheaply took it out too, where the Carnotaurus used to chase your vehicle as it regains traction, you now just stop and sit there in complete silence. Come on, Disney, thats horrible.

About Primeval Whirl, its a spinning wild-mouse style coaster, so basically its a ride that anybody can enjoy, and will probably be about as intense as Space Mountain (in other words, not very)

Tom Morrow, seems the last time you hit Dinosaur some of the effects were down. Carnotaur #1 still chases you (most of the time) and there's still 3 Carnotaurs. When a dino is out of order, they drop the audio associated with it. [Just like they do on TTA when COP and Timekeeper are closed] That wasn't the case on Pirates for about a 2 month stretch last year. Chase scene #3 was removed for refurb, but the chubby lady's giggles were still there. My 3 year old daughter noted "she's hiding, I can hear her laughing."

Hmmm... they must have been fixing a bunch of things, because I swear that a ton of stuff was missing, not just some of the Carnotaurus encounters..

All of the Carnotaurs that were in the original CTX are still there. Although there was a period when the photo-spot Carnotaur was replaced by a picture (maybe he was down for maintainence?)

The Brachiosaurus scene alternates between the Barchio and a bunch of Raptors. I keep on waiting for that scene to change into a raptor attack, but I don't know if tat will ever happen.

The only major change to the ride since it's inception is the intensity of the vehicles' movement. All of the effects are still there, and the ride sequence is still the same.

So, you know that part when your car is stuck in the mud, the giant carnotaurus appears to the left of your car, and you speed away with him chasing you, and you just miss getting eaten by him? That entire scene was missing and replaced by the car sitting in silence last time I rode it. So is it possible that the chasing carnotaurus animatronic was down for maitenance?

When I was there in November we got chased by it. It was in fine working order. The most graphic scene to me is right in the beginning when you see the one dino eating small one whole. Geez!

I was just their in February and the chase scene was up and running. It was probably down for some maintenance when you went. I know the same thing has happened to me. The first time I went on it the final "attack" scene just as your are about to jump back to the present and the Carnotaurus comes out at you from above, that never seemed to work. But then I went on it again a third time a few months later and it did. Scared the crud out of me!!!!

I also love the ride... I have also noticed that a lot of people do not notice that last Carnotaurus attack at the final scene! That's my excuse to ride it again (you didn't see it? let's go again!.. lol):sohappy:

We could never accomplish that, for some reason it is so hard for us to get a photo on that ride to come out good.
