Dining Trip Report Feb 2014

Lunch was Spice Road Table. Don't let the pretty pictures fool you. I am not a fan of this place. The portions were way too small for the price and the service was terrible.
Mediterranean Omelet
- with potato, red peppers and caramelized onions

Day 2 Breakfast at Tusker House

Dinner Sanaa
I love this place. I have eaten here a few times and although the service was a tad slow, it was one of the best meals of the whole trip. Food was fantastic.
Wine
Slow cooked durban chicken and madras fish curry.
I loved my friend's kichidi, so they brought me a side for free.
Dessert Sampler for 5 . Yes, we ate the whole thing. No, there were not 5 of us
I love this place. I have eaten here a few times and although the service was a tad slow, it was one of the best meals of the whole trip. Food was fantastic.

I have a TiW card, so I wanted to take advantage of some places I never tried because of the dining plan. This trip was bluezoo.
The service was excellent. The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was also very high quality.

Truffles. These were amazing. I was too full to eat them all, so I took them to go. I ate them over the next day or 2 and they were fantastic.

A dining trip report???!!! What a great idea, pictures are brilliant. I was on the fence about trying Sanaa on my next trip but I think you may have just tipped me in the direction of YES PLEASE!

I have a Canon S100. I had the S95 before this one, but it got stolen. It is a great point and shoot camera.

Day 4
Breakfast at Kona
I have eaten at Kona a few times. I have eaten Tonga Toast and the Pineapple Macadamia pancakes. This time, we decided to share a few items. Other members of my party ordered the Tonga Toast and the Pineapple Macadamia pancakes, so I ordered The Samoan.
It was the best of the three! We all loved it. It was so nice to have something salty with all of the sweet dishes.

Now we come to the final and best meal of the trip. I can't say enough about how much I loved this meal.

Ahi Tuna appetizer. I still dream of the watermelon vinaigrette on the plate.
Scallops. This meal was exquisite. The scallops were tender and perfect. The risotto was remarkable.
I didn't want any dessert, but they gave me a complementary one. The berry cobbler wasn't really my thing, but the fresh berries on it were delicious.
The service was great, the food was amazing and it was definitely the best meal of the trip.
