Dining solo at 'Ohana

I wonder if you book a table for 8 at Biergarten and you show up as yourself, do they give you a death stare and give you your reserved table, or do they sit you with other people?

When you get to a restaurant you are asked to confirm how many people you have and they adjust it in the computer if necessary. However, booking for 8 when you are 1 is going to get them annoyed I would think. They will probably seat you, but you certainly won't get a table to yourself.

Not old, just vintage.
You won't get a solo table and you certainly won't get seated anytime soon. Every time I have showed up with less people than on the reservation it has caused major drama. This is especially true if the reduction in people requires a different size table (Example, going from 6 people to 4 or from 3 people to 2) In the past we have ended up waiting a significantly longer time because people bailed on the ADR and it caused seating issues in the restaurant.

I think it is a bit of a programming glitch. I do a lot of solo trips but always do a party of two (there really is no such thing as a table for one anyways). Gives me the flexibility of having a friend join me at the last moment (which happens about half the time). Only place I do the one only is something like Hoop Dee Doo, since you are charged right away. But in that case, I know I can add a friend at the last minute anyways. ;)

When I went last November I tried booking 5 or Chef Mickey's online but it kept telling me it was sold out for the day I wanted. This was in early September. I called and did it with the automated system and got the time I wanted. Right now I booked online for my trip in May at Chef Mickey's at it went through just fine. The online booking can have issues at times.
