Dining Plan Question

I recall having the dining plan a couple years back where two table service points could equal to a Signature "point."

Now, can you combine two quick service points and make that into one table service? Or, am I just dreaming because Disney is too smart to do that?

Also, does Disney do the "free" dining plan promotion anymore?

You cannot combine to QS credits to make a table service.

Disney sends out pin code for free dining randomly throughout the year, and they usually always offer free dining in the fall for select date from sept-dec...

As stevehousse said, you cannot combine quick service points. You can still combine two TS points to eat at a signature place.

Thanks, guys! I guess I was dreaming...

It's just that I think a QS and TS is just waaaay too much food, especially with Disney's portions, and I also hate waisting food. So, one TS is perfect but of course, Disney doesn't have a strictly one TS and snack plan.

Some cast members still combine them. You just need to ask around. For every two no's we usually found a yes.

And it is easier to turn a table service into snacks and counter services. Trade down and not up.

You don't have to do a dining plan. It took me a while to get there, but now that I don't use the DP anymore, I eat in a totally different way. You will most likely save a lot more money just paying for your meals out of pocket rather than paying for a dining plan.
