Dining plan menu question

Short question on the dining plan...:veryconfu

We're thinking about getting the dining plan for two on our 6 day trip. We've always thought it might be a good way to "force" us to sit down and take a break, and have a decent meal. When getting a table-service meal through the plan, are you limited to only "certain" dinners, or can you order whatever off the regular menu? I'm not talking about getting whatever and paying for it, but what is included in the plan... :hammer:

WOW- 61 days and counting...can't wait!!!!! :sohappy:

LOVE THIS SITE!!! Soon as that tax refund comes in, I'm becoming a member!!!

With DDP TS you get an appetizer, an entrée and dessert. If you order an 'add-on' of lobster tail or whatever that isn't available as an entrée, you'd have to pay for it. But there's no restriction on which entrées you can order.

Really? I thought there might be because when we were there one of the servers asked if we had the plan and when we said no she said "well then, the sky is the limit, right? "

And the servers will help you all they can to "maximize" your bill, because that means they get a larger gratuity. They are very helpful with the menu, and there are very few items excluded from any menu. :slurp:

The Dining Plan is only available for the entire duration of your trip - if your staying 6 days you must purchase 6 days. All members of your party must purchase the plan as well.

Have I mis-read your post ?? Are there two of you staying six days ???

We have used the DDP during our last 2 trips (total of 16 days) and have not run into menu restrictions. You order what you feel like eating that day (appetizer, entree, beverage, dessert). Last week at Le Cellier, 6 of us ate for $239 for late lunch and the next day, 'spent' $261 for dinner at Alfredo's. Of course it was all prepaid on DDP. We would normally scan the prices somewhat, but not on DDP. As they say, it's fun ordering by only looking at the 'left side' of the menu. Prices are irrelevant. :_)
