Dining Plan Exclusions?

We will be on the Deluxe DDP this June and before I get my DH hyped over all the surf & turf he can handle, I wanted to check if any meals are excluded from the plan. I know the kitchen sink at Beaches & Cream isn't on it, are there any others that don't count. Also what is the policy for meals you share, eg mezze appetizer at Kouzzina or pizza at Napoli?

I don't know about meals, but if it makes any difference to you, there are a couple high end restaraunts that don't participate in the dining plan, such as Victoria and Alberts, and Bistro de Paris. Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex are independently owned and operated and therefore, don't participate in the dining plan, either.

When we ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe last year, there was a dessert sampler that counted as two dessert credits. My wife and I could either order our own desserts, or we could share that sampler and have it count as each of our dessert portion. So I imagine that is how it would work with the shared stuff that you mentioned. :shrug:

Weve done deluxe past 2 years and booked again for 2011 - i cant recall any exclusions. Some apps say "for two" and some places adhered to that,while some let us order that as 1 app. Its so much food anyway you wont be dissapointed.

Also dont forget to take plenty of cash for tips, as with deluxe your total bill will be higher than normal!

We've (I've) avoided non-Disney restaurants when making ADR's so that won't be a problem and I kind of like the shared appetizer/dessert idea. It's just good to know that we can order off the menu knowing it's all paid for (except tips).

The only other menu exclusions are the occasional add-on items. For example, if they list "add a lobster tail for $8", that's an add-on to your entree, and is not included as part of the entree. It would have to be paid for separately. But there really aren't many places that offer things like that.

But if something is listed under a single heading in the list of entrees, then you can choose whatever you want.
