Dining Plan Credits for Wishes Dessert Party

I just read you can use credits from your dining plan to book the Wishes Dessert Party. Does anybody know how many credits per person it takes?

I've always heard that you can't use the plan at the party. Do you mind sharing where you saw this in case the policy has changed.

I just called to look into reservations for our trip next month. Confirmed, you can not use DDP for reservations and you have to pay for the event when you book it...$27.68 per adult (inc tax)

It was on Disney's site. It promted me to "pay" by using my dining credits...

If it will allow you to pay for it that way, and you want to...go for it...all I know is when I called last night they said you couldn't use them to pay for it. But on the link you added it does show this:

If I've learned anything about Disney's website is to always second guess it. Did you try to book it though and see if it worked?

No because 1. It's not available (yet) for the dates I will be there. 2. I have no idea how many credits it would cost me. Not really trying to spend 2 credits per person on that.

I'd say call the Disney Dining number and tell them what you when you want to book and tell them you want to use the DDP...

I booked the other day but had to call because it the dates were not up on the computer yet, but calling I was told they are open till August 30th.

I was also told it was not part of the dining plan and had to pre- pay with a Credit Card
