Dining outside of the parks for "cheap"

I don't know how I pulled it, but I have park tickets for the week!

:D I am going to MK tonight!
It's been a while since this happened - but I'd like to point out that whoever decided not to differentiate between what TYPE of tickets you have left when checking on the MDE app is a JERK.

Basically when I looked at my app it said I had park tickets available. I was excited, posted here, drove over to MK after work... and at the gate they said I had no tickets left. I showed them my app and that it said I had days remaining - "Oh, no sir, you have water park tickets remaining... sorry".

So I drove all the way over there and paid for parking... for nothing. I could not justify dropping $100+ just to be in the park for a handful of hours so I left and went to eat dinner. Good thing I didn't make that reservation at Liberty Tree. :(

That being said, I should have called and checked what the tickets I had "left" were instead of just assuming. MY mistake - but still a huge bummer. Oh well, we'll be back in WDW in September 2016.

And on the bright side I did do something new - I rode the monorail for the very first time. :)

You should contact IT and provide constructive input on how they can make the app better. The phone number provided on the app ("My Disney Experience and Family & Friends") is (407) 939-3471.
