Are there some countries that offer better food ? We tried Japan because I like sushi. Not so great. China, did not get much for price.
Where have you gone that you didn't like? Also, would you consider a short walk to BW, YC, or BC. All are a five minute walk from Epcot and have excellent options.
What are BW,YC,BC? Would not mind the walk at all.

Table Service: China, not so good. Japan good but pricey for what you get. People's take on Mex food varies. I have had great Tex-Mex in the Southwest and great authentic Mexican food in Mexico. Having said that we like both Mexican options at Epcot. Again authenticity is a problem for some in Biergarten. I think it is a great place, filling and the food is good. Rose and Crown is very good. We will sample the new Italian restaurant for the first time this July. Both restaurants in France are very good as is La Cellier. La Cellier, however is pricey and not a premier, top of the line steak house. Skip the US food. Morocco is different and enjoyable.

QS- Mexico good but limited, France is good, Morocco is very good. Japan-not bad.

La Hacienda de San Angel is my all-time favorite restaurant to eat in @ the World Showcase. Their apple empanada dessert is to die for!! And if you go close to the time of Illuminations you get a beautiful view of the fireworks while you eat! Les Chefs de France is another one of my favorites, and Biergarten is always fun to eat in. The restaurant in Norway is good if you have kids who love princesses :)

Japan has my favorite quick service.

Japan because I like sushi, but you don't get a lot, same with China. We'd like to try something different. We like Italian. How is Rosé and Crown?

Well if you are only going to Japan for a few pieces of sushi i would tell you your best bet would be to go to Katsura Grill and order one of their sushi trays, Teppan Edo/Tokyo Dining can be expensive and limited menu wise especially compared to Kimonos (Swan) and Kona Cafe/Island.

I am not a fan of either of China's restaurants

As for Italian I suggest Via Napoli or Tuttu Gusto.

Rose & Crown has delicious pub fare and other Engish delicacies plus Yorkshire Fish & Chips isnt bad either

Also I suggest you try Boulangerie Patisserie (France) and maybe Tangierine Cafe (Morocco) both are great and have lots of otpions for you and your family.

We were rather surprised at how good Nine Dragons was, there general tso chicken was the best Ive ever had. Most places here at home make it so sweet but ND doesn't.

Le Cellier the best fillet Ive ever had altho not sure its worth 2TS

Via Napoli is good as well but if your expecting Pizza Hut type pizza NOPE much much better!

Coral Reef while the restaurant is loud and service can be slow we love the ambiance here (sorry I know this is in FW)

San Angel another one where the food can be hit or miss but we LOVE the ambiance.

If your family likes hibachi Teppen Edo is the way to go altho I wish they had the hibachi rice instead of noodles.

If your family likes sushi I suggest Tokoyo Dining

We enjoy Beirgarten cant say there was anything I didn't enjoy

That Mickeytatstic! Glad there are folks like you who can tell the truth. The guidebooks aren't worth much when it comes to critiquing food! I am the only one who likes sushi. But my other friends like Mexican and We all like good Italian. I appreciate the help because it is usually up to me when a WDW trip is being planned for a group to get together. I'm the Disney freak! Everyone else are foodies, so I want to make sure my friends are happy!

I don't eat sit down meals in China, Japan., or US (we skip altogether except for the turkey leg:D). Mexico and Rose and Crown are number one in my book. If you have never been to La Cava put it on your must do list immediately:) Japan has a quick service sushi place, up a set of steps to your right. It has above average sushi and sashimi. Good Sake, too:D
