Dining in Japan

I was wondering if someone can clear up the Dining now in Japan. Which one do they do the cooking in front of you and what is the other one? I know that the names are Teppan Edo and Teppan Dining but other than that im confused. The Disney site still lists Teppanaki and the counter service but thats it. I wanted to call and get a PS but didnt know exactley what is what anymore.

I'm pretty sure that Teppan Edo is the restaurant with the cooking show - my mom and I had lunch there in December. The names of the sit-down and quick-service restaurants are escaping me at the moment...

Teppan Edo has Teppan-Yaki style dinning which is where they cook in front of you. Tokyo Dining is the more traditional table service portion of the restaurant. Yakitori House is the counter service restaurant in Japan located next to the garden and across from Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dinning.

Yes, it's Teppan Edo. We have ressie's there for our trip next month.
Tokyo Dining is primarily Tempura
Yakitori House is mixed counter service
and I thought there was a separate sushi only...but that may have been for Food and Wine...not sure

Teppan Edo is the one im looking for then. I knew it wouldnt take long to get that straightened out here. My son will love to watch them cooking right infront of him and tossing it on his plate...

I liked the old name of Mitsukoshi better. I don't see why they had to change that too. I'll still call it that.

If I am not mistaken the restaurant as a whole is still called Mitsukoshi they just put names to the separate sections of the resturants.

Isn't Mitsukoshi the name of a major Japanese department store...like Macy's...
If they are footing most of the bill, they probably have options on the naming...or if after refurb, the restaurants were taken by a different group, it would change....don't know for sure.

I have seen both Teppan Edo and Tokyo dinning shown as Mitsukoshi presents Teppan Edo and Mitsukoshi presents Tokyo Dining so I assume that Mitsukoshi is still involved in some way.
