Dining during Extra Magic Hours

I wanted to book this Friday night at Via Napoli at Epcot. The only available time was 9:15 for dinner. The park closes at 9. Extra Magic Hours go from 9-11p. Will I have any problem going to my reservation in Italy even though I'm not staying at a resort and don't have EMH? Does EMH just allow only resort hotel-ers on rides or will they try and kick me out of the park? It's going to be a very special night, so I don't want to have to argue with anybody about how one person said I could stay, one person said no, etc. Thanks a lot!

My gut says you should be allowed There was one time our flight got in late and we arrived at Le Cellier late for dinner (they honored the reservation, we have APs so we weren't wasting a day on our pass. Anyway...) They did not check our IDs or anything. I don't see why they would turn a paying customer away, and the few pavillions that remain open do not check your MBs to let you in. However, I would call Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) just to make sure. The way I see it, why would they turn away a paying customer just because they are not staying at a WDW resort?

EMH's just mean that offsite guests are not allowed on rides during that time. Think of it this way... anyone can book a breakfast in the parks before the park opens. You don't have to be staying onsite to get into the park during EMH if you have a breakfast ADR. Dinner should be the same way... as long as you have a valid park admission, you should be fine.

If you are staying off site they won't hassle you until/unless you try to go on an attraction. They will let you dine and shop and spend money to your hearts content.
