Does anyone know where I can find out when the free dining discounts are going to come out for 2011?? Or the ones that came out for 2010? Trying to figure out when the next free dining plan discount will be out. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Mousesavers has a discount history on their site. As far as discounts in 2011 all you can do is look at the past and speculate but until Disney officially releases them it is anyones guess.

Right, we're hoping that the free dining for the fall will come out around March or April. But, there's no way of telling whether that will actually happen or not this year. Like Yoda said, its anybodys guess.

Free dining dates for 2011 were released in August. The public offer was made, I believe, on August 27. There were dates throughout 2011. The booking window closed on December 20th. We booked our trip for August on Dec. 20th with the free dining option. This is not to say that they are not going to re-release the offer in the future. Right now, the room-only discount is available. Depending on where you planning on staying, you may be better off with the room discount and paying for your DDP. I've run the numbers and if you want to stay at the deluxe or deluxe villa resorts, you definitely can save money with the room-discount. I actually priced out our 10 night stay at POFQ for August and it was cheaper with the free dining, but if I were to upgrade to a deluxe or deluxe villa, it would be cheaper with the room-only discount.

Can someone help me out? The free dining that was announced for 2011, did not go into October, right. Please tell me I didn't somehow screw up and miss it.

If you're thinking about booking a trip for later on in the year, you might want to consider booking a package with the room-only discounts now and if they do release more times for free dining, you can always change your reservation to the free dining plan if it works out financially better for you.
We did this in the reverse this year. We booked with the free dining option in anticipation of the possibly releasing a room-only discount, which they did. We're now trying to weigh our options as which package would be better and where we want to stay for what price.
